Appropriate Punishments for the Chuck Jones thieves

    Like This Thread!
    Howdy,

So, apparently some real Grinches in the world are stealing Chuck Jones artwork, going so far as to drive a truck through the gallery storefront.

What are the best penalties for these slimebuckets when they are caught?

    - Tied to anvils, dropped off cliff in the Arizona deserts.

    - Trash can dropped on heads, sledgehammered mercilessly until they vibrate like bells.

    - Marc Anthony the bulldog.

    - "No...not the Thinker...NOT the Thinker...NOT THE THINKER!!!!"

    - Three words: Acme Rocket Skates

    Any other ideas?

How about William Tell except with 12 gauge shotguns? Roll out the barrel works very nicely as well.

I would be quite content if they just returned what they stole, no questions asked.

...But if they damaged the art, OFF WITH THEIR HEADS!

    Later.

it would be one thing if it was original artwork, but from the listing... it looked like a bunch of seri-cels and limited editions.

I would subject them to the wheel, but that is a McKimson joke.

I know, how about subjecting him/her to the Sniffles cartoons?

Actually, I'd put at least one of the Sniffles cartoons on a best of Chuck Jones list. So that series is hardly a punnishment. Why is Sniffles picked on so much? Every week I see 3-4 posts bashing the character.

There is nothing wrong with Sniffles. I like a couple of his cartoons as well. I was just trying to think of a more Jonesian punishment and I remember all the Sniffles bashing.

I say the easiest one would to just make him hold an anvil at a cliff's edge in the middle of the desert.

Oh, okay. Thanks for clearing that up

Why not have a variety of Jones punishments with a McKimson spin to them? Each thief would have to spin a wheel, and they would have to take whatever Jones-like punishment the wheel stops on I think that would be lots of fun.

Either that, or make them all watch "Now Hear This" over and over again in a small padded room with thier eyes pinned open. It's a good cartoon, but so *weird* that it would probably drive them insane.
