I'm going to have to say Mickey Mouse. Not the corporate logo Mickey, or the oversized plush toy who greets visitors at Disneyland, but the Mickey Mouse who won over the public back in the 1930's through cartoon shorts and comic strips with his sunny disposition and adventurous spirit in the works of Ub Iwerks, Walt Disney Floyd Gotfredson and others. Not that I don't like Bugs Bunny, though. If Mickey Mouse was Charlie Chaplin, then Bugs Bunny was Groucho Marx.
