The Honey/Lola situation revealed???

Ok, I have seen the thread from KimPossibleFan... http://forums.toonzone.net/showthrea...threadid=48701 , and realized one therory of the Honey/Lola situation....Warner Bros. only have one Honey, back in the 30's. So therefore Lola is the...(I can't believe I will say this...) main bunny girl for Bugs...Still it's wrong for Lola to over-shadowed Honey Bunny lke that...

I don't think one character over-shadowed another. In my opinion, Honey Bunny has just been updated to Lola Bunny. She didn't fit modern audience's requirements so she's been given a new visual appearance and a new name. It happened to other more or less popular characters, the most notable ones are Bosko (turned into a small boy with overactive imagination), Oswald the Rabbit, and most recently Melissa Duck (updated to Tina Russo Duck).

Compare Honey Bunny from comics with Lola Bunny from Space Jam.



Ehh... I just realized this topic is quite old :P But I think my post adds something new to it.
