Woody Woodpecker And Friends

Am I the only one that would REALLY REALLY like to see this rereleased on a DVD collection restored or even back on TV PERIOD. -_______-

I've always loved Woody Woodpecker, but the character and practically all of Walter Lantz's stuff has been so badly mistreated and/or ignored that I wonder if its even feasable now.

I know Columbia is doing a restored rerelease, but supposedly those are only VHS

I was wondering if anyone else had fond memories of this character

There hasn't been any official word about the Columbia House set yet. The Woody & Friends set still isn't even listed on their website at all. I have hope it will become available on DVD.

But I do agree that the Lantz cartoons deserve to be seen on television again. The Columbia House set is a step in the right direction, Universal has been ignoring these wonderful cartoons and characters for far too long.
