Well, Scooby Doo may as well be considered a Cartoon Cartoon...though an old Hanna-Barbera creation it has been treated by Cartoon Network and Warner Bros. as a timeless, new, series. (it's neither one, in truth.) Besides, Scooby does appear in an episode of "Johnny Bravo", and I thought it was pretty clever.

I hate Scooby-Doo with a passion. It's not funny, emotionial, or well drawn. It's a crime of humanity. *Sigh.* There should be an episode where Scooby is gunned down by the Ed's. Yeah. That would rock.

Scooby Doo. Started in 1969. Began the trend of "Teenagers with an Animal or Supernatural Creature Solving Mysteries" in the 70's like Jabber Jaw, Speed Bugy, Fang Face or The Phunky Phantom Ghost. Also began a downhill in good cartoons. I hate it. Too many plot holes. Only time I laughed when Sunny Bono said, "I heard they had sking." I'm still supprised they didn't edit that line out.

Excuse me. I have been a fan of Scooby's since I was little. I still like Scooby Doo. It's a show that is making a comeback if you haven't notice. Another thing it played longer than Invader Zim ( I wasn't going to say it but you started with Scooby Doo!) in new episodes if I recall. I also like Tom & Jerry.

No. I don't think the Eds should even get the credit to nor anyone should. Well, maybe they should so that way the show should be pulled off the air. Well, don't you think that's cruelty (hope that's spelled right) to animals! I'm a little mad that Johnny Bravo had them but glad in a way because I understand some voice changes and all that. Scooby is a classic. So, of course, if you don't like older cartoons, guess you wouldn't like it.

A. You are far too defensive. It's just a show. You don't need to freak out over people with diffrent opinions.

B. I love old cartoons. Rocky and Bullwinkle, Looney Tunes, Fleischer, Underdog, UPA and more. Scooby-Doo isn't representive of old cartoons.

C. I think I'll try to speak for Pilmedium for a sec, beacuse I share his opinion. Recently, Scooby has become a mass kitch monster. It's everywhere. And those of us who hate Scooby-Doo also hate the fact that it derives attention from more worthy shows, like Looney Tunes, Rocky and Bullwinkle, Underdog, UPA and more.

D. Invader Zim has more humor, depth, and animation in 10 seconds that Scooby has in all of it's unholy incarnations. You should watch it.

E. The Ed's thing......it's called satire. But that would be cool.

I really don't like Scooby Doo, but you need to remember, it's a kids show. Everyone on this board is 13 or older, and we don't like kids shows. Most Cartoon Cartoons are adult shows that are made suitable for children so everyone can enjoy them, if you ask me. Scooby is for kids, Dexter, PPG, Courage, Johnny, and Eds r for EVERYONE!

"Gunned down by the Eds?"

I doubt Danny would allow that. He was an animator for Scooby Doo back in the '70s.
