I thought it was funny the first couple of times, but then after that it just got old...

I absolutely love it.
I'm indifferent to it.
I'm sick of it, and want it to be replaced.
I have never seen it.
So, what do the folks at this particular board think of the current "Bugs and Daffy Show" opening? You've probably all seen it. It shows Daffy being obsessed with Bugs Bunny getting applause, and him not getting any.
Personally, I'm sick of the darned thing, and now try to miss it whenever possible. I know a lot of people who feel the same way. It's just repetive after you see it every day for a week, and so is the Looney Tunes Show opening, come to think of it.
I think the Looney Tunes Show and Bugs and Daffy are the only CN shows that don't have a catchy theme song to start them off.

Yah, it's old and ready for the waste bin.
(Howsome's ever, I voted for the "indifferent" one, mostly because I'm taking a Looney Toons break at the moment, so I'm not having to watch the opening over and over again.)
What would be the wisest wish that one could ever make?
The wish that could not backfire.
The wish that would not cause one's friends to say
"The old adage is proven true:
'Be careful what you wish for.'"
Shouldn't admit it here, but I already have.at other times...don't have cable..

I like the "Looney Tunes Show" opening better.

Yep, it is getting old. I really don't care to see it one more time.

I hated that stupid opening the first time I saw it. Daffy's my favorite Looney Tunes character, and it kind of gets on my nerves when he's bashed like that. (especially when Bugs is doing it...Bugs' tendency to constantly upstage Daffy makes me dislike him quite a bit) The opening doesn't bother me as much as it used to though...simply because I've seen it so many times. It's pretty much just routine. Now I just kinda roll my eyes during it or change the channel until it's over.
Much like the CN Tom and Jerry opening, it's only funny once. Personally, I liked the Bugs Bunny-Road Runner Show opening better (with the "Overture, curtain, lights....On with the show, this is it...." song), as well as the opening that my local TV station used to run for Tom and Jerry, which was the 1975 T&J show theme (oddly, while this opened every show, they rarely ran these shows until the Filmation shows were put into the syndication package). But I doubt that CN will take time away from commercials to run those themes, since they're longer.
Actually, "This Is It" (the song Howard is referring to) is probably much shorter (it's less than a minute) than the current opening, and it's simple and catchy. I actually prefer it too, and they wouldn't even have to reanimate it to use it, three versions exist.
The best thing about it is it shows the characters looking happy to put on a show. No petty (and overused) rivalries, or Daffy being humiated for no reason whatsoever. Though, CN would probably reanimate it show Daffy trying to trip up Bugs, and the curtain would end up falling on him or something![]()
