I'm a die in the wool fan of US animated cartoons: that is, in house, from start to finish: character design, story boards and complete animation vs. shipping overseas for the animation. I know others will disagree and I do like the vivid colors of this particular movie.
Question: does anybody know where this movie was animated? Overseas? and where? Were the character designs done in the US while the in-between animation done by Warner Brothers in an overseas studio? I'm curious because I would venture to guess that the work was done outside of the USA.
My basic question: why is most if not all animation shipped overseas? Does it merely come down to cheaper labor?
Sincerely curious,
Bill
Like basically every single thing you can find in the US (Cars, toys, food, etc.), this was made overseas
In China actually. By Wang Film Productions, Taiwan.
Aw come on, you expect me to put something witty here?
