Bugs Bunny.  He's one of the most famous cartoon characters of all time, and rightfully so.  Even though his shorts are 40–60 years old, I can still turn them on and laugh, thanks to the sharp comic timing, the witty ways he outsmarts his adversaries, his smile-inducing smart alec nature, and superb voice acting by Mel Blanc.

Some people cannot immediately recall individual animated cartoon titles due to infrequent viewings, infrequent showings, and the great number of Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies (1002).

Although I disagree with "Hare Brush" and Rabbit Rampage" (my problem with these two is not because Bugs lost, it's just that they're not that funny compared to other cartoons), pretty nice list. I share the opinion of "The Unruly Hare". Makes one wish that Tashlin did more of these.

I hope you do more of these! This website needs more classic cartoon love!

Nice to see some recognition for "Unruly Hare". That's always been one of my favorite bugs shorts (the "Only a rat" scene particularly stands out in my mind).

I'd have included "Scaredy Cat" -- it's probably my favorite Looney Tunes short and it's gotten a fraction of the airtime of the lesser follow-up "Claws for Alarm". It's a really great, messed up cartoon.

Glad to see "Big House Bunny", "Rabbit Rampage", and "Bugs' Bonnets" get some love though. Those're great shorts.
