Ideas for the Next Scooby DVD Movie

    Like This Thread!
Since Scooby Doo makes a Direct-to-DVD movie every year, we can make up our own movie ideas here. I'll go first:

Scooby Doo and the Werewolf of Wisconsin

Scooby and his friends set out on their greatest mystery: The Beast of Bray Road. There have been recent sightings, even by their old friends, the Hex Girls. As the gang investigates, Scooby is the first to find the werewolf, who turns out to be harmless. Also on the trail is an evil ringmaster who plans to use the werewolf for his circus.

Scooby Doo & The Chest of Demons

Scooby & the Mystery Inc Gang realize that something's amiss when Daphne & Shaggy discover an old scrap book of their adventures that they can't remember. They're soon contacted by Vincent Van Ghoul who tells them that after capturing the 12th ghost of the Chest of Demons, he erased Daphne, Shaggy, and Scooby's memory so they can live normal lives, believing Scrappy and Flim Flam could handle the final ghost on their own.

They're reunited with Scrappy and an older Flim Flam, who've been tracking the 13th Ghost for years while Flim Flam trains in the mystical arts, and now need Mystery Inc's help in capturing the final ghost.

The ghost, who was originally thought to be the weakest of the lot, has been in hiding, building his ghost army and gaining strength. He only needs the Chest of Demons to complete his plans, and now it's going to take the the combined teamwork of Mystery Inc, Scrappy, Flim Flam and Vincent Van Ghoul to stop the final ghost before he can claim the Chest of Demons and conquer the world.

How about Scooby-Doo and the National Crisis.....the kids can try and fix the problems in this country like Unemployment (by hiring more Ghost Hunters), National Spending (by using Scooby Snacks as our new form of money), and Terrorism ( by catchin g the bad guys in one of their Scooby Traps).

How about a Batman - The Brave and the Bold/Scooby-Doo crossover where Scooby and his friends team up with Batman again? This time with appearances by Superman and Wonder Woman and Green Lantern and Flash?

Good one! This would bring final closure to the 13 Ghosts series, and put Scrappy back in the fans' good graces at the same time.

I'd go you one better, but I did that already. Go back to my thread "More old favorites rebooted", and you'll see it there.

I agree that's a good idea. The only problem though is that there would have to get another voice actor for Vincent Van Ghoul since Vincent Price died a number of years ago.

Scooby-Doo and the Incident at Doo Manor

Scooby goes to his family reunion at the Doo Manor. He meets up with his sister Ruby, their parents Mumsy and Dada, cousins Scooby-Dum and Scooby-Dee and other family members. Suddenly, they're all confronted with a mechanical spook, covered in phosphorus paint. The spook is really after the Doo family portrait, which is worth a fortune. Velma discovers the spook is leaking oil and it's starting to fall apart. Then, Scooby-Doo, along with Scooby-Dum, with Freddy, Daphne, Shaggy and Velma, follow the trail of the spook's oil leak to an old outhouse. The spook chases the gang towards a nearby pond and goes in, only to self-destruct in the water. Suddenly, Scooby-Doo sees something moving in the shrubs, near the pond, and after he jumps there, he and the gang find out that it's Dick Dastartdly and Muttley plotting to steal the Doo Family portrait from the Doo manor for one of Scooby's old nemesis, Thaddeus Blimp. Freddy comes up with an idea. They fish the spook out of the drink and fix it up. As the plan is starting, Scooby was fooling with the control, until Shaggy takes it from him. Security cameras roll at the Doo Manor as Dastardly and Muttley are shown browsing at the Doo Family Portrait, then the spook takes the villains and the security tape and heads straight to an unoccupied shack, where Thaddeus Blimp and his flunky are hiding out. Suddenly, the spook takes Blimp and his flunky straight to the Sheriff's station. The Sheriff looks at the security tape at the Doo Manor, showing the spook and later Dastardly and Muttley trying to steal the Doo Family Portrait and an audio recording of Thaddeus Blimp, masterminding the theft and the spook. The Sheriff orders his deputies to lock up Blimp, his flunky, Dastardly and Muttley, in his jail. The Doo family go on with their reunion without any spooks nor any diabolical plottings.

True. I always thought Price actually contributed to "Water, Water Every Hare" several years back, but if it wasn't him, a near-perfect mimic had me fooled. In this case, someone like Fred Travalena or Rich Little, both of whom have toon experience, IIRC, could fill the bill.

How about for a revival of the New Scooby-Doo Movies concept:

    "Scooby-Doo meets the Jonas Brothers"
    "Scooby-Doo meets Gilbert Godfried"
    "Scooby-Doo meets the Little Rascals"
    "Scooby-Doo meets Michael Phelps"
    "Scooby-Doo meets Weird Al Yankovic"
"Scooby-Doo meets Myley Cyrus and Billy Ray Cyrus"
"Scooby-Doo meets the Cast of Law and Order"
    "Scooby-Doo meets Drew Carey"
    "Scooby-Doo meets Britney Spears"
    "Scooby-Doo meets Tim McGraw"
    "Scooby-Doo meets Dr. Phil"
    "Scooby-Doo meets Whoopi Goldberg"
"Scooby-Doo meets the Cast of Star Trek"
    "Scooby-Doo meets the Lone Ranger"
    "Scooby-Doo meets Joan Rivers"
    "Scooby-Doo meets Lance Armstrong"
    "Scooby-Doo meets Matt Damon"
"Scooby-Doo meets the Car Talk Guys"
"Scooby-Doo meets Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa"
"Scooby-Doo meets Bugs Bunny and the Looney Tunes"

After all, "What's New, Scooby-Doo" was made by the same animation studio that brought us Looney Tunes classics like "What's Opera, Doc?" and "One Froggy Evening"

I always wanted to see a Scooby Doo Gang versus Dastardly and Muttley battle. In many ways Dastardly ad Muttley were the characters that served as the transition from the Yogi Bear funny animal era and the Scooby-Doo mystery comedy era so having those two interact with Scooby and the Gang sounds like an interesting basis for a cartoon.

Thaddeus Blimp from the New Scooby-Doo Mysteries, I forgot about that character.

While you're at it, you could make that 13th ghost a shapeshifting character, who became the evil Scrappy of the movie (for revenge).
They really should do that. That should have been the third movie.
    Aww, isn't that cute?
    But it's WRONG!!!

Out of all that, I can only see a small handful being done (i.e. Bugs, Phelps, Armstrong). It costs money now for WB to try something like that. The business, remember, isn't the same as it was in 1972.

But if Drew Carey could have Daffy on his show, a Bugs & Scooby team would actually rule!

Was there even a Scooby-Doo spoof on "Animaniacs" (with Frank Welker voicing the Fred spoof character) and a reference to Scooby-Doo also on "Animaniacs"?

The celebrity cameos could be done. But I got better ideas for future Scooby Doo Movie reboots:

Scooby-Doo meets Ben 10 - This probably would involve the return of Ghostfreak or some updated version of him.

Scooby-Doo meets Freakazoid - which could be a sequel to "Scooby-Doo and the Cyber Chase."

Scooby-Doo meets Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kids - A musical mystery episode!

Scooby-Doo meets Jonny Quest - Could be a continuation of the Cyber Chase saga with Scooby and the Gang and Team Quest in Questworld.

Scooby-Doo meets Pinky and the Brain

Scooby-Doo meets Penelope Pitstop - although this Penelope is the modern-day version of the Wacky Races character, which is her granddaughter

Scooby-Doo meets Krypto the Superdog and Ace the Bat-Hound - Scooby-Doo in his first "World's Funnest" adventure as he assists the Caped Canines against "The Kryptonite Kreature"

Scooby-Doo meets the Legion of Super-Heroes - A time-travel adventure in which a Science Police officer named Fairuza Jones finds herself teaming up with a time-displaced Mystery Inc. and the Legion of Super-Heroes to stop the Time Trapper, who has recruited an army of nightmarish ghouls from the past to prevent the Scooby Gang and the Legion from solving a case that could affect the future of the Blake and Jones families in the 31st Century. And, at the end of the episode, we get to meet the Mystery Five, a group of Science Police rejects who are the descendants of both the Scooby Gang and the Hex Girls!

Scooby-Doo meets Captain Planet and the Planeteers - Yep, the Scooby Gang and the Planeteers team up to stop a radioactive monster! Nuff said!

    Kenny
In the animated music industry, there are two completely different but important girl groups: The Holograms, who are just Truly Outrageous, and the Misfits, who think their music is better. These are their stories.

Law and Order: Starlight Music. (dong-dong)

Yah now that's what I what I want. I mean why can't they finish the 13th Ghosts on a Direct to DVD? I loved the series, they never caught that 13th ghost. Should they allow Fred and Velma to go with them here though? I'd also like to see maybe a return of a real Vampire, the last one was a fake, that or a real wearwulf. I like both.

Yeah, Fred & Velma would be there. I'd love to see what they bring to the 13 Ghosts Concept.
