    Is Boomerang becoming Cartoon Network?

Before anyone says it, yes I know this isn't the Boomerang forum anymore.

Anyway, after JLU went off I saw this bump about Dr. Quest always saying something gloomy all the time. They even gave him a nickname, man this embarrassing, I just saw it an hour ago and forgot. I'm sure someone here will see it and post the name for me. The point is, it was very Cartoon Network-eqse. If Boomerang starts making more bumpers like that and adding more modern classics, it may start to look like the old Cartoon Network we all know and love.

Boomerang is just about CN before Toonami showed up besides with a few more recent shows thrown on in various slots.

Whether that's a good thing or not is up to the viewers but personally I'd rather watch Boomerang than CN except for when Boomerang plays the preschool shows and when Toonami is on CN.

Both channels have their share of good shows, and I think making Boomerang a little more basic shouldn't be a problem since it would be the animated equivalent of TVLand.

Da Boom is recycling some old CN bumpers/skits to fill time after selected shows. That's about all I can figure.
