MAKE IT A GREAT DAY EVERYBODY!
I remember it. Not too bad if I remember correctly (then again, it was a long time ago). Sometimes, I listen to the theme song on Toontracker.

Yes, I remember it. In fact/truth,the series' full name was "Bucky O'Hare and
the Toad Wars!" But this show was doomed, I t'lell ya, DOOMED! By what,
y'ask? ITS ANIMATORS! The animation was,I recall, slipperier than a government-
issued eel,and equally,damn near fallapart.
I remember that show, got it on tape. I always wonder what happen to it, guess I know now.

The show was based on a comic book that debuted in 1988, drawn by Michael
Golden. As I remember, the comic was somewhat better than the TV show.
The cartoon was very accurate to the comic and was just as good, animation was top notch, holds up well even today (I purchased the DVD), the show was cancelled after one season. But it's one of those shows people think lasted longer.
It was one of those weird but cool shows. Another dimension, where an Earth boy gets transported in the midst of a giant war and has to assist the downtrodden freedom fighters. I always found the plot clever, as the Toads were basically a typical race of beings who suddenly became warmongers due to the suggestions of their supercomputer known as KOMPLEX.
Konami made a Game base on this Show (On the NES/Famicom & in The Arcades witch the NES game is just a port of the Arcade game) , But I have not played it yet, I don't no about The Comic/Show.Originally Posted by Toonlover

That cartoon was one of the coolest cartoons of the early `90s.
As far as I can remember, it was also the first time I heard a character voiced by Scott McNeil.
Awaiting the dreaded "Age of the Chameleon" with one eye looking over my shoulder.
I remember the show when I was young, though admitedly not much. The most I remember was that there was this person who looked a lot like Daffy Duck, and the girl had telekinetic powers, but they would only work on robots or something.
I remember it..not well mind you but I remember watching it all the time and loving it. Of course I was 4 - 5 years old when I remember watching it.
I loved Bucky O'Hare. The show was awful (maybe I was too old), but I laughed to tears at the theme song where the word "Bucky" sounded disturbingly like a more profane term commonly known on family boards as the "f" word.
It was great. Especially the last line, where the singer re-iterates this issue by screaming "I said Bucky!" (which again simply sounds like he is indignantly confirming to the parents the fact he's swearing in a cartoon).
This was made EVEN better, when a little later the BBC presenter was forced to sing over the lyrics, clearly to hide the phonetic swear word by over pronouncing the "B" sound it didn't sound like an "F". Hilarious. I've listened to it since and it STILL sounds like F-.
