The Amazing Race: Toon Zone - Leg #10 - IMPORTANT NOTICE

All remaining teams, still at the Colonne de Juillet, on the old site of the Bastille, recieve one large communal telegram from Tim. It reads:

So sorry for the delay, everybody. I came across a roadblock of my own this week, and that is why there was a delay in the start of Leg #10.

All of you remaining teams have spent the past leg scouring the city of Paris, looking for clues as to my whereabouts; congratulations on getting this far! You were all starting to look very comfortable in your roles with your team mates.

As I'm sure everyone here knows, nothing good lasts forever.

What is a Toon Zone reality game without a twist? It's happened before, so you shouldn't be surprised.

From this point on, The Amazing Race: Toon Zone is going to be an individual challenge. Yes, that's right - you're all on your own. The teams are no more.

You may still work with your former team mates (or any other participants) if you choose - if that's part of your strategy, then by all means, do so. At the beginning of this leg, Leg #10, I will be sending out the clues to every remaining participant, as I have since the beginning of the game. The difference is that EVERY SINGLE PARTICIPANT must send in their answers to me. If your ex-team mate sends me their completed answers, that does not ensure you are kept in the game - you must do so yourself.

Again, I say that you can still help each other as you continue through the race. But, if I do not see responses from every remaining individual in the race, there is a very good chance you could be eliminated in future legs.

Surprised? Maybe, maybe not - but trying to track me down is only going to get harder from this point on, as it should. As I initially intended, you will all have a few days to think this over and re-assess your strategies and availability with your former team mates. Later this week, the clues for Leg #10 will be sent out.

Just remember, everybody - you and your former team mates - you'll always have Paris to remember together.

something I've been pondering for the last week-ish... what exactly is going to be happening with our Fake Points? ...do both former players get the amount their team had (i.e. Gwen & I both get 87) or do they get split in half (i.e. Gwen & I both get 43.5) ...and do the points still remain "worthless" ?

The current "fake points" that the teams have will also be translated to individual points.

Therefore, let's say TEAM A had 100 points right now. Once it turned into an individual challenge, Participant 1 and 2 (which comprised Team A) would then continue on starting with 100 points each, seperately.

It looks like the shake-up for this leg has really made it difficult for some teams; it looks like, for a good chunk of the race, some of the teams weren't working as actual teams to begin with. A number of players have yet to even open their clues, believe it or not!

And, as promised, two individuals are being eliminated this leg. Unbeknowst to all but myself, Javeman and theAmanda, a team up until this point, voluntarily withdrew from the competition due to real life issues a number of days ago.

Javeman...theAmanda...I'm sorry to see you go, but as per your wishes, you've both been eliminated from the race.

Kinel, Weatherman, Red Giant, and Bearpod, you've escaped elimination this time; if you wish to continue, however, you must complete all of the answers to Leg #10 for all outstanding checkpoints before opening up the clues to Leg #11.
