Messing around with archive.org, observing how webpages in the 90's were half the width they are now:
    https://web.archive.org/web/19980530...98/dayone.html

And then I spotted this, an actual use of the original Pokemon slogan:

They couldn't copyright "Catch 'Em If You Can" and had to use their second choice, "Gotta Catch 'Em All."
It's interesting they would use this slogan in the open before they could properly clear it.

THIS WEEK: It's a war on the media and Trawn and company are caught in the middle in Part 2 of a brand-new Electric Wonderland incident! Aren't you glad real life isn't this insane?

You mean trademark, not copyright. Sorry, but I am frankly anal about people confusing the two.

Wow, this is terrible advice. Most of it is from the unofficial strategy guide by Prima, but one's pulled from the actual game manual.

Yes, the old wives' tale about moving the truck in front of the SS Anne was IN A GUIDE.

The best touch is how all these fake channels have titles like "The Culture Network," "The Know Channel" or "Insight and Arts." That's exactly what's happened in real life.
That's equal parts funny and depressing.

Just a reminder of what Nickelodeon would rather put on television than Korra:
