Did you drink any of the following things....

    Like This Thread!
    New Coke
    Crystal Pepsi
    OK Soda
    Pepsi Holiday Spice
    Surge
    Pepsi A.M.
    Vanilla Coke
    Vanilla Pepsi
    Pepsi Blue
    Coke Blak

How many of these things did you experience during the brief period they existed? (If there's anything here I didn't think of, be sure to mention it and I'll update the list...)

I guess I'm not very adventurous; the only "failure" soda pop I've tasted was Crystal Pepsi. I pretty much had the same reaction as the rest of America...that of confusion. Our tongues had been taught that clear = Lymon flavor, and this was just Pepsi without brown food coloring.

Even if you're my age or less, "New Coke" is still a possibility, as it was sold in limited markets for almost twenty years afterward as "Coke II."

Only one of those I've had was vanilla coke.
    What about coke with lime?

I remember Surge quite well - it swept through America from 1997 to 1998 or so and then just disappeared without a trace. I recall it actually not being that bad, but my memories might just be clouded. My sister kept telling me horror stories about how it supposedly made you sterile, but I never bought it (she says the same thing about Mountain Dew and Sierra Mist).

And I really, really liked the whole vanilla craze that Coke and Pepsi ripped each other off with. It was a shame to see them go.

I had Vanilla Coke, yes. Good stuff.

You forgot the short-lived Dr Pepper Red Fusion, which as I recall tasted like a shirley temple or something similar. The current Cherry-Vanilla Dr Pepper has a better taste, really.

Surge was really good, as well as vanilla coke and pepsi. Those were the three that I had.

What about Pepsi Blue? That stuff was GREAT!

Call me crazy, but I don't like soda at all. Give me water or fruit punch any day. I occasionally drink 7-up when i get indigestion (I think 7-up is way better than sprite), but that's it. And what about Jolt Cola?

Ah, there's one I didn't think of. It's added now.

And no, I never had Pepsi Blue either.

I've had all of them except vanilla pepsi, pepsi a.m., and coke blak. Speaking of this topic, am i the only one to remember dnL (If you dont know what it is, just tilt your head and read it). I never knew what it tasted like but was always curious about it, but then it died suddenly.

Out of the sodas on your list, I've tried:
Pepsi Holiday Spice - pretty good.
Surge - Loved it. It lives on through Vault, which is a worthy successor.
Vanilla Coke - I loved this one. I really liked the whole vanilla cola thing that was going on for a while.
    Vanilla Pepsi - see above
Pepsi Blue - I only remember trying it once but I remember liking it a lot.
Coke Blak - It's okay. It's better than what I expected. Oh, and by the way, they still make it. It's not dead.

I remember that. It was just 7up with caffene.

Speaking of discontinued sodas, I sure do miss Sprite Remix.

dnL was a replica of Mountain Dew, essentially. You didn't miss much.

I've drank Vanilla Coke and Vanilla Pepsi. That's all. What exactly did New Coke taste like?
