Should I Get A Wii?
I'm not into the Zelda-type games, so Twilight Princess wouldn't be a game I would get, but other than that, is the Wii really worth the $250? I have the money for it and a few games, I'd probably get Excitetruck and/or Rayman Raving Rabbids. Has anybody played those two games?

I only have Zelda and the obligatory Wii Sports, but don't bother with Excite Truck. Rabbids is better, but is basically a bunch of minigames since it was rushed to market to make launch time.

No, wait until March. The final version of the Wii Browser comes out for FREE that month.
At least get a Wii before June.

the beta browser works just fine, i'd get it, in fact i did it just really appealed to me and i stopped playing games last 3 years,
usually when i ask a question like this one on a forum is when i know i want something and i'm just looking for people to tell me "yes" to make the purchase with an easier mind

There's plenty of titles available that are quality.
Rayman Raving Rabbids has a lot of charm, personality, variety, fun and innovative uses of the Wii remote to warrant a purchase.
Also, Excite Truck is an excellent arcade-style racer where winning the race alone won't help you unlock new trucks, tracks, and options.
Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz is a challenging, quirky, and excellent addition to the Monkey Ball franchise.
Dragonball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 2 shines on the Wii with more characters, options, and personality than ever before. The Wiimote is put to good use as well. This is a fighter for not only DBZ fans but for fighting fans in general.
Trauma Center: Second Opinion is a remake of the DS game with added bonuses. It's a wonderful game on its own merit. Who doesn't love operating sims? Rhetoric question BTW.
Elebits is a quirky and very entertaining game from Konami featuring a level creator allowing you to trade levels with friends via WiiConnect24.
Finally, Metal Slug Anthology has a multitude of control options and seven games to play.
There you have it. This list doesn't even include future titles such as Wario Ware: Smooth Moves or the Q1 releases of Metroid Prime 3: Corruption (rumored), Sonic and the Secret Rings, and Mario Party 8. Plus several other Wii titles have yet to get a release date as of yet, but they will before too long. Obviously the big hitters in Super Mario Galaxy, Fire Emblem, Disaster Day of Crisis, Project H.A.M.M.E.R., and Super Smash Bros. Brawl are forthcoming as well.
