RTP 2 (it's almost like PBS over here) aired "The Wish That Changed Christmas" this morning and last Sunday. And this is not the first misfit that I remember watching!
Five years ago, I remember watching "Up on the Rooftop", to give you an example.
@Chris: I'm interested to see that.

Thanks to you I am watching Cricket on the Hearth right now. It's airing on one of those Christian channels, which is channel 266 on Dish Network. I sometimes just scan though channels on my box and I saw it was on. They might have aired it multiple times so far who knows.

Next year is the fiftieth Misfit Christmas Special, and I'll leave it up to you what it'll be. Post your suggestions and debate them, and the most popular one will be it!

Going to have to echo back the suggestion I made back in 2012:

What do you get when you put three friends in a recording booth once a week, screen old anime, and tell them to make sense of it? You get the Anime of Yesteryear Podcast
! Tune in each week as we kick back and discuss anime of old, both the well-known and the obscure. (Updates Bi-Weekly! Newest: 4/11 - Megazone 23 Part 3/Final

Ack, I was rereading these a few days ago. The Goof Troop one actually scared me as a kid, the idea of anything burning down due to an electrical short just never occurred to me before. Am I the only one who would count that as Nightmare Fuel?
I'd also vote for the remake of The Year Without A Santa Clause.
