Um.....you know, you CAN post in topics I create......

If anyone was wondering why last week's new piece was on a subject that would only hold appeal for residents of my city and the surrounding area (Ramblin Rod)....What I really wanted was to give the Ramblin Rod page some real hits to start out, so it'd get on a decent spot in Google Search. Usually when I update For Portlanders Only the updates go unannounced.

FPO wasn't the first "spinoff site" concept I came up with, though....it was just the first to appear. My first idea was "Applepalooza," consisting entirely of reviews for Apple II games. This idea is still around and I want to eventually remove "Apple II Adventure" from the site and replace it with this.

I'm surprised THIS is still online....it's my first attempt at the idea, from way back in 2002 (the exact date listed) and there wasn't any work on it beyond the hour I spent making it in the college computer area.

Later on I moved forward again and wrote two articles for it, which are still on the server:

    http://www.platypuscomix.net/applepa...tewithgarf.htm

What do you think? Want to see more?

I'd love to see this section! Big fan at that era of computer gaming.
