"Rugrats Go Wild" in Odorama...

...In addition, I can also smell a major blown opportunity: Eliza having the ability to talk to the babies!
And that's what really stinks!

This works for television, like they did a few years ago...
...but for the MOVIES?
Me thinks the people at Nick are going crazy...
It IS Bizarro!

I remember when they did this on NICK... none of the items smelled like they were supposed to, and they all smelled really nasty. For the sake of our children, let's hope they got it right this time.

You know, with "Spy Kids 3: Game Over" trying to bring back 3-d google movie watching, and "The Rugrats Meet the Wild Thornberries" trying to bring back "Smell-A-Vision" movie watching, it looks like this will be one of those "Summer Gimmick Seasons" even more then usual. And I mean if the crossover gimmick wasn't enough for tRmtWT, they have to with this as well.

Didn't they at one point have nickelodeon in 3-d? I remember getting 3-d glasses in cereal boxes and stff to watch nickelodeon. It was right around the time when Hey Arnold! came out and "Alex Mac" was still on. It didn't last too long though.

Considering the gimmick, it makes me wonder if any of the people behind Rugrats Go Wild are fans of the film Polyester.

OT sorry, but is Spy Kids 3 really using the 3-d goggle gimmick? I thought the original title for the movie was Spy Kids 3-D, being a clever play on their third installment and the fact they'd be trapped in a virtual world or something.
But hey, I'm all for those fun gimmicks, just as long as they're used sparingly - just hope Eisner doesn't decide to start remaking the classics in CGI AND 3-D....

Actually, it was a week long Special Event deal back in the fall of 1998. This was when Nickeoldeon first regually expanded into the 8:00- 9:00 p.m slot (Eastern standard time, BTW) so they decided to help celebrate it by making their shows for that week 3-d. This included two 3-d episodes of Rugrats, Hey Arnold, the Secret World of Alex Mac, The Wild Thornberries, and some other shows. Of course, the episodes weren't all in 3-d, just certain parts where you would have to put on you're glasses to get the true effect. I think they did this again with diffrent shows, but I'm not entirley sure when that was.

"Nogglevision"... I remember they had the Hey Arnold! episode with the kids trying to save a tree, and they were all wearing different-colored pajamas to get the 3-D effect... don't remember anything else about that week.

If I remember correctly, the Hey Arnold Episode titled "Love Potion" was also in 3d. When Helga was running down that hallway and all the hearts are moving around...then they stop.
That was cool!

I remember three other uses. One was the Rugrats episode where Chuckie and Tommy had to get away from the dust bunnies. The dust bunny scenes (espically the scene at the end where Chuckie is on his way fighting the Dust Bunny King) were all made for the 3-d glasses. The two others I remember were for Alex Mac, one where she had to take her driver's license test (A dream sequence in which she fails to get the license) and the other where she temporaily quit the Donut Shop she was working for (The sequences where she's talking to a floating donut were all made for the 3-d glasses). The rest, slip my mind (besides the already mentioned Hey Arnold Episodes).
