Nickeloden resurrects "Invader Zim" and buys "Men In Black" to make new show--

(Cheezy Supermarket Tabloids) Nickeloden has confirmed rumors of two recent projects in the works. Nickeloden has resurrected it's recently-cancelled but madly-popular show 'Invader Zim' and will bring it back in the fall lineup as part of a new show. With the purchase of the rights and production of 'Men In Black' the animated series, Nickeloden will unleash a new half-hour series, following Zim on his wacky adventures as he tries to outrun the Men In Black, who seek his demise for expired Extraterrestrial visas.

Co-executive of Nickelodeon Jean Shary spoke about the recent plans:
"This will be the best thing we've done since the Rugrats 'All Growed Up Special'. I'm pleased that we were able to obtain Adelaide Production's 'Men In Black', as well as the production team. We want to make these two shows come together harmoniously, both as entertainment... and as powerhouse money-makers. You should see the fruits of our labor in early September of this year."

Later, when asked about the details, Shary spoke of how things would be handled: "Well... Men In Black ran successfully for four seasons. In the forth season, they brought on two new characters, Dr. Zeeltor and Agent X. In the summer of 2002, Columbia released an AMAZING sequel... better than the first MIB film from 1997. We want to take the best of both worlds and in the end we actually came out making TWO new shows. The main show with Zim, will include that amazingly brilliant actress Lara Flynn Boyle with live action segments as she teaches kids how to do simple gardening and planet destroying at home. Zim will be a part of the main show-- the animated segments and we will be bringing back the entire cast of MIB The Series, with a few minor changes of course. Zim will be voiced by comedian 'Carrot Top', Agent L will be a PLATNIUM blonde and her character will now be modeled after television actress Anna Nichole Smith, and we've decided to remove Agent X's ears because they remind kids too much of Star Trek. It's going to be great."

When asked about the second project, Shary spilled it all:
"It's going to blow kid's minds! We are going to give Gary The Snail of Spongebob Squarepants fame, and Lucy the Bacteria, pet of Dr. Zeeltor, their own Crime Investigation show. Together, the two will hunt out criminals, solve crimes, and do... whatever it is that snails and bacteria do. You can expect Spongebob and Zeeltor cameos in the show."

Wow... this will be one action packed fall lineup.
