So, what would you do to fix Nickelodeon?

I think that an emphasis on more original programming and staying behind their shows would be the best way to improve Nick. Supporting shows like SpongeBob and Fairly Odd Parents would help grow the younger demographic while shows like Invader Zim and the cancelled Constant Payne would help create a teen to adult demographic. I would also continue the successful DiC movies that they have been playing on Sunday afternoons and work with other animation facilities to create more of these types of features. Just my plan though.

1) Bring back ZIM, ordering a full 65 episode season for air in 04, with the option of up to three feature films.

2) Bring back ALL the nicktoons and air them daily. Those that can't fit into the weekday schedule will get an hour block on the weekends.

3) Nick at Nite goes back to what it once was: Classic B&W shows from the early days of t.v. Plus bring back that stop motion guy who'd intro the shows.

4) All eps of Super Duper Sumos are burned. SLAM becomes an hour of ZIM, MIB, and Inspector Gadget.

5) No more Slim Time Live or U PICK. All shows begin and end when they're supposed to, not ten minutes before or after.

6) Animaniacs gets the respect it deserves with an hour block every morning and afternoon, with it's opening fully restored.

7) Rugrats, in all it's incarnations, is cancelled and left to nothing but repeats and occasional airings of the two films.

8) Nick buys Doug back from Disney, burns the Dis episodes and calls them out of continuity.

Bring in GOOD writers and make good shows. Also rerun the golden oldies like Ren and Stimpy, You Can't Do That On Television, The Adventures of Pete and Pete, etc.

Well, I'll start by saying I agree with Pabcool (it'll save me a lot of type-time )

1. Cut the imbilical cord with K-C already!! Nick can keep airing K-C shows, but they need to stop being so dependant on that company
2. Axe the Sumos already
3.Bring back Zim. Thanks to Nick, I never got to see more than 4 episodes of it
4.NO MORE CENSORSHIP!! If Nick (or "Noggin") doesn't like Daria the way it is, they shouldn't pick it up
5. Leave Animaniacs, P&tB, and Tiny Toons alone! Showing the WB logo for 5 seconds won't encourage kids to change the channel (ruining the shows will )

The ultimate ways to fix Nickelodeon:

As far as I'm concerned, Nickelodeon is dead to me. I only watched it for "Looney Tunes on Nick" (which had all these great cartoons like "China Jones" and the Bosko shorts)

With the exception of such shows as "Ren and Stimpy", "Invader Zim", "Rocko's Modern Life", and most of the live-action shows ("Hey Dude", "Salute Your Shorts", "You Can't Do That On TV") that should have thought twice before premiering on this turkey of a kids' channel, it's been overrated since I was a kid and now it's worsened. No shows (not even the imported cartoons) had any redeeming value, the orange motif irritated my eyes, and I was forced to watch it because Cartoon Network wasn't on until 1992 (and even back then, you had to pay extra on cable to get it).

If I had to fix it, I'd ban the entire channel from the airwaves and have everyone who worked on the network fired. The Nicktoons like Invader Zim, Rocko, and Ren and Stimpy would be bought by Cartoon Network (or another channel that's willing to take in two of the best cartoons in America) and would air uncut and uncensored. The live-action shows like "You Can't Do That On Television" and "Hey Dude" will be put on VHS and DVD for anyone who actually liked these shows. The rest of the shows will be doused with kerosene and burned to cinders.

And that's how I would fix Nickelodeon.

As for Noggin, I would just take Daria off and put it on another channel that will air it uncut or on VHS and DVD.

GAS should air without those annoying interuptions because I like the old game shows like "Think Fast", "Double Dare", and "Get The Picture".

I know some of this may seem violent or "wrong" but that's what I think.
