Why do you all hate Jimmy Neutron!?

It's one of the funniest things I've ever seen!

For cheap budget 3d animation, it's pretty good cheap budget 3d animation!

I can't find a single reason to hate this show! Why is it that I haven't seen a single positive comment about it on these boards?

I cant hate Jimmy Neutron - namely because I still have yet to see the show OR the movie...

Maybe one day, in my spare time, I'll pick the DVD up and give it a looksee...

Just because Rob Paulsen does a voice in it doesnt necessarily qualify it for being gold star excellent you know..

I know that. He also did voices in Butt Ugly Martians, which is a totally butt ugly show...

but Rob Paulsen is really neat!

First of all saying "You All" isn't the correct way to ask your question. "Why do some of you hate Jimmy Neutron" will be a better way to put it. Anyway I can't hate the cartoon or movie cause I've never seen it, so basically I'm one person you don't have to worry about

I think the show is adorable

Although I enjoy Jimmy's friends more than Jimmy himself. Plus the whole Jimmy/Cindy thing gets real tiring after a while. Otherwise, this is a decent show and it should be interesting to see where it goes.

I am FED UP with these threads, all they do is turn into flame-wars , (read the "What is it with people dissing Kim Possible?" thread as an example)

Compared to Hey Arnold, Jimmy Neutron is right up there with Spongebob in the "Exactly what american children should'nt be watching" department., Jimmy neutron will, to quote Eric Cartman "Warp your fragile little minds"

And knowing is half the battle..

But Zarius you have to look at the fans point of view would you just sit there and just let somebody rudely bash your fave show??? I think not and the only reason why flamewars happen is because the fans get fed up with the bashers rude comments and then boom the flamewars begin!!!

The Fans: Fire

The Bashers: Oil

Result: Flamewar (they just don't go together!!!)

Anyway I'm not pointing fingers but all of these flamewars got to stop. Some shows I can't stand but do I try to ruin the spirit fans??? No. I just keep my thoughts to myself.

Storm1288, I know you hate the flame wars as much as I do, but they will continue so long as threads like this one exisit, like it or not...all they do is annoy the heck out of people who hate Jimmy Neutron, and anger the fans of Jimmy Neutron when people start dissing or merly putting it down with the truth of it's quality...

A thread will only be closed if the thread in question WARRANTS something to close it. And for right now, there is absolutely _nothing_ wrong with this thread except YOU coming into it and trying to find and MAKE issues out of something that hasnt even developed.

If anything is inciting flames wars in threads like these its the bad attitudes of the people who come into it and make something out of nothing that issn't there at all.

Unless you suddenly gain mod status overnight, hows about we let the mods like myself, Craig, Matt, and Harl make the decisions as to what stays closed and what DOESNT stay closed OK?

Now - having taken care of THAT lets get this back on topic please? Thank you!

I'm not big on Jimmy Neutron for n reasons. The animation is not-good. I'm not an animation fanatic, but how a show looks has some effect on how much I like it. The characters are all pretty irritating, except Cindy, who I think is a good character. The jokes are sometimes funny and sometimes cliché. The plots are either completely predictable or moronically unpredictable, depending on the episode. But I've laughed with it a few times. It's not the worst thing on TV, but I'll take FOP or ZIM over this any day.

1. the animation. ugh it looks like someone dropped one of those block people toys and tryed to make them look good.

2. the blatent rip off of dexters lab. ( ripping off is something i see nick doing alot lately)

Haven't watched it. It looks like a fun concept, but I have little faith in its ability to squeeze out real emotional depth in a Saturday morning cartoon show.

mostly the reason why ppl don't like this show is mainly because of Jimmy himself.He seems like a stuck-up bratty know-it-all...i do enjoy the show though(i'm in love with Sheen)

It's not a bad show, and it has it's moments, but it's not something I'd go out of my way to watch. I agree that the whole pseudo-romantic plot is kind of annoying.

The show is okay, but I liked the shorts better then the movie or actual series myself. For me, it's one of those shows where you'll watch if there's nothing else on at the time and you happen to pass by it while channel suring, but not any other time.
