    DARN IT!!

I think Zim is gone for good leaving the last few episodes unaired or to be aired on NickToons TV, which not many people have. If it wasn't for Tiny Toons, I wouldn't watch Nick at all.

Looks like the General in South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut was right: "Don't worry, kids. You can still see plenty of fart jokes on Nickelodeon."

That's really all that Nickelodeon has become: a sloppy (to say the least) cohesion of butt jokes, pee-pee jokes, loudness and general idiocy.

Somewhat O/T: Has anyone seen the trailer for "The Wild Thornberrys Movie"? You have Kevin M. Richardson narrating about the lush, majestic jungles of Africa, set to (typically) beautiful Klasky-Csupo animation. Hey, this has the potential to be pretty entertaining...then we get to a scene of a monkey shaking its butt in Debbie's face. If only the meatheads at Nickelodeon Movies hadn't undercut themselves so drastically, but I shouldn't be too surprised. Just look at the trailers for "Rugrats in Paris" and "Clockstoppers"; the studio's been doing this for years. Don't they realize that kids...well, some kids, anyway...are smarter than this and won't swallow just anything that's shoved under their noses?!

    Whew.

Back to the topic, IMO, "Super Duper Sumos" is utterly ridiculous and makes one long for the entertainment of "Butt Ugly Martians".

I agree completely. When I first saw the "Wild Thornberrys" trailer, I was thinking 'hmm, maybe NICK has done something right for a change' saw the butt joke, and immediatly threw away that idea.

Back on topic, ZIM was a great show, along with the many other Nicktoons that have been given the boot. I really don't understand the appeal of these butt-themed shows, the older Nicktoons were smart, creative, and funny. Who knows, maybe I'm just getting old.

Well, this could be bad. I still like to think they're planning to air season 2 of ZIM (the second season cost upwards of almost $10 million, didn't it?). Sumos can't be that well rated, and even if it is, well-advertised new episodes of ZIM wcould easily overshadow more BUM reruns; they could always cut that off.

    sumos, ugly martians...

i think nickelodeon needs to re-evaluate what they decide to make cartoons out of, instead of just throwing money at lame ideas

The topic title made me laugh a bit, especially when I thought about it

    Sumos: *fly down towards Zim*
    Zim: ...help
    Sumos: *SQUASH!*
    Zim: *weakly*...the...pain...

Seriously, Nickelodeon is getting ridicolous. 10 years, they didn't want butt or fart jokes on their station, and NOW look. And The Wild Thornberries movie doesn't catch my interest at all. Hey Arnold dissapointed me big time with it's ending, and I'm sure that if Eliza suddenly lets her ability to talk to animals be known, she'll cover it up too...

Getting ridiculous? It's been ridiculous for a good while now. The very least that Nickelodeon could do is at least stop jerking Zim around and either give it a dedicated time slot, or just air all the remaining episodes. Instead of more crap-tastical Sumo Whatever-the-Hell-it's-called.

I remember after the firing of John K. and Bob Camp betraying Spumco, Nick said that they don't want to be known as "the network of boogers, and farts". Now look what they've become. Can you say "hypocricy"?

    A little, yeah.

I updated the forumla: pee-pee jokes, butt jokes, grossness, loudness and general idiocy. What a shame.
