I prefer Nick's Doug. Disney's Doug just wasn't the same. It was too... Disney.

Nick's Doug. Disney's Doug tried too hard to a WB teen drama in disguise.
Yup. It's a signature. Go away if you're expecting something interesting here.

Although the majority of people don't like Disney's Doug, I thought it was alright. The animation improved a lot and I liked the way the characters changed between elementary school and middle school (though I found the change in Connie's appearence a bit unnessicary). And, best of all, Doug was one of those rare animated programs that actually got to have a final episode And, in my opinion, the show was wrapped up rather well.

I did have a few problems with the Disney version. The movie about the Lucky Duck Lake monster was pretty bad (more of a "long episode" than a movie) and the anorexia episode was too "after school special" and totally out of character for Patty (though it might have worked for Connie because of her change between the origional Doug series and the Disney one)

It came first and had Billy West in it.
I guess this means that we'll be seeing Jimmy's ugly CGI face pop

    I like both!

    Both was fun to watch.

Nick's dong was how doug went to a new town and how he went to a new school and make new freinds.

(Just like how I move to a new place and had to make new freinds)

And disney's doug was about how things change.

Btw does anybody know any doug website?

I don't really care for either one, but Nick's was a little better.

The earlier Doug seemed kinda flat compared to the newer version.Plus the background music was really weird.Tne new ones had them too, but it wasn't as obnoxious.

The one thing I REALLY couldn't stand on Disney's Doug....

They showed Skunky!! Skunky was never supposed to be seen, that's why you never saw him in the Nick version!

Anyway, I liked Nick's better. It just seemed funnier.

Neither. It brought animation to new lows of blandness in my opinion.

I liked both shows, like someone said the shows were about different things. How things Change and how to adapt to new places & people.

Having seen Disney's Doug everyday on Disney Channel afterwork I really like it. Unfortunetly I have no idea what the last episode was like or if I have already seen it or not because I'm only just now catching msot of the episodes I missed in the alst saeson thanks to The disney Channel.

So what was the last episode about and how did it wrap up the series ?

I loved the Nick ones. The Disney ones are awful to me. They just seem wrong since, I have been watching the Nick ones since I was 9. Porkchop was cuter on Nick's too. BTW, what is up with all Nick post lately?

I loved Doug when it was first on Nickelodeon, it was one of my favorite Nicktoons and really made me a fan of Nickelodeon.
Then I got out of it and when it went to ABC, I didn't check it out. Did see the DISNEY's Doug movie and loathed it. I don't know what but in the transition from Nickelodeon to Disney, Doug lost it's appeal for me. I recently saw some re-runs and the Nick stuff is good but the Disney stuff is eeeccch.

Anybody have a favorite Nick Doug episode? One of my favorites was the episode where Doug had the large collection of Man-O-Steel Man(name?) comic books.

    The last episode

So what was the last episode about and how did it wrap up the series ?
    Here's the jist of it:
In the last episode, Patty's father got re-married to Ms.Crystal (the english teacher), Judy left home to go to college, and Patty asked Doug out on a date

    Nick's Doug

Disney's Doug was okay, but to me nick's doug was better. Disney's Doug just didn't have the same feel. I have always thought the anoexria episode should have been about Connie instead of Patty. Connie was like a total different character in Disney's Doug.

One had some actual character development, while the other was made just to please the parents. Guess which one I preferred?

I'm not a Nick fan by any stretch of the imagination, but their "schoolkid" shows do tend to have a bit more substance than Diz's.
