Rocko or R&S

Who did you like better Rocko or Ren and Stimpy ?

Ren and Stimpy.

It was so bizzare at times and the Man's Best Friend episode is one of the best cartoons I have ever seen.
Plus, I always found Ren to be kinda cute in a strange way..

I chose Rocko. I used to love that show until I just didn't see it anymore on Nick. Is it still showing, or did Nick kill it? I haven't kept up with Nick since I gave myself to Cartoon Network.
Ren and Stimpy was too gross for me, but it was still funny.

When Ren and Stimpy, was around I was too young to understand all of it, I was like 7-9. So I chose ROCKO, although I probly would enjoy RS mor these days

R&S was a little too gross for me. Rocko was way better! That show could get a laugh without resorting to vomit-inducing gross out humor (unlike R&S)

Rocko definitely!!! R & S was okay, but Rocko was so funny and so well-crafted. I mean, it had a subtlety to it and lots of different layers, so lots of different people could get something out of it. It was also totally insane without being just gross jokes. R & S had some layers too, but the top-most one was always just the gross-out jokes for the first-graders, and that got old pretty quickly.

Once I saw 'Rocko' I knew I had to visit this thread! I had to vote for Rocko's Modern Life. It was just light-hearted and great fun!

Ren & Stimpy was fun at first, but the gross-out jokes got old for me real quick even at my young age. Rocko on the other hand, always delivered and I enjoyed each and every episode.

What ever happened to it?

I voted Rocko. I love RnS, but it did begin to lose it after awhile.

I like Spumco Ren and Stimpy more. But I adore Rocko.

WOW, that's a tough one. One the one hand, Ren and Stimpy didn't pull as many punches as Rocko seemed to... on the other hand, Rocko was more intelligent, more clever, and more consistent than the up-and-down roller coaster that was the Ren and Stimpy Show.
In the end, I'd have to say Ren and Stimpy, just for being out-and-out freakish and strange and not one bit ashamed of it. But it's really a tough call, and I've got no disrespect for anyone who likes Rocko better. They were both excellent shows.
