Poor 'lil Zim

Now, before I rant, I do like Fairly Oddparents. Do we really need 4 episodes of the show IN A ROW?! Usually Zim is on AT LEAST one time between Noon and 2 on Sundays. Not a chance today. The Nick.com schedule is even wrong about it.

And on Friday, only HALF an episode was on. ARGH!!!

At least I got a cool Zim shirt at Hot Topic.

I needed four episodes in a row. But, I do think they should have play Zim sometime since they started that half episode crap.

Nope, it was the one with the Invisble Mech where everyone can see Zim. It was funny and i love that Ep. But why is Nick do'n this ??

I saw a commercial for a new Block with Zim, Butt Ugly martians and something else on it. It'll be on Sundays so it looks like Zim's Time slot is gouing to change again..Just please give us new episodes !

No it was not new it was MegaDoomer. I can barely stand five minutes of Fairly Oddparents, but somebody must like. fifteen minutes a week of Zim is not nearly enough, Especially when they play four episodes in a row of some other crappy show about every day.

Earlier, I said these poor programming practices will cost Viacom the network. Let me put that into detail...

What I meant was that these in apporpriate practices performed the network was definatly going to backfire on them and result in poor ratings instead of the high rating they got in the past, with and without the practices. As a result, millions of dollars will be lost and a resturcturing at MTV Networks would be required. They will have to dump the staff of Nick for new, more appropriate people and probably sell the company to another outlet, like Sony Pictures or AOL Time Warner (optional).

Oddparents is definitely overplayed. I'd probably like it more if it were on less (heh, sort of like Zim).

I think Nick should stop playing the same eps over and over if there are not enough episodes to warent.

Thank you NICK! An entire weekend and only 15 minutes of ZIM??? Why do you bother to release a tv schedule if you're not going to make good on that schedule. 2 hrs of those fairies???

It seems ever since I started recording ZIM (July 12th) NICK has decided to cut back on ZIM.

ZIM is being held prisoner. WE need to form an elite rescue team to free ZIM and bring him over to a network that will support him: CN, MTV, somebody!

I recommended the show to my friends but they couldn't see it because of NICk's dishonest schedule.

Yeah ! That's it ! It's going to be Robot Wars KIDS basicly, instead of them having kids sometimes all the contestants will be kids I read about that a while back. Nick had better get back to airing FULL episodes of Zim, by the time it hits.

And if theya re going to show reruns, PLEASE show more than the same dang episodes, I have the same episodes on tape like 6 times. And i still have NEVER seen the Halloween special. And I atleast thought they'd show it once before October but no, they never air it ora lmost none of the first season episodes anymore.

Same here. I've been watching Zim since last November, and I've still never seen "Halloween Spectacular of Spooky Doom". It's the ONLY episode that I haven't seen. And there's a good chance that if it ever gets played again, it won't be until Halloween this year.

Fairly Odd Parents isn't bad, it just usually fills Zims slot and compared to Zim it looks bad so I acns ee why so many people say they hate it. But same here the ONLY episode I've never seen of Zim is also that Hallowen Special.

I hate they never play it, but have shown Growed Up like 30 times.

A conglomerate structure of nested divisions and subsidiaries is rather like a tree. If a branch should become diseased, it can be pruned off and the tree will survive. It is the same as when a division of a huge conglomerate becomes unprofitable. If for example, Nickelodeon becomes unprofitable, Viacom can either devote resources to improving the division's health (like an immune response) or cut it off and forget about it. If the division still has some life in it, it could sprout roots of its own, or it could be grafted on to another tree.

Now if the roots and trunk become diseased (like, for example, Worldcom) either medicine, fungicides, and fertilizers must be applied which will halt fruit production fo an unpredictable time, or all the branches must be cut off and grafted to other trees.
