Hillenburg said he didn't want to do more episodes for a while. Apperently there's gonna be a movie, I'm not sure if Hillenburg's involved. And dirty Nick might proudce new episodes without Hillenburg. So, I'm not sure. But if it's not canceled, the new eps will probobly suck.
If you get put in solitary, it ****ing sucks. I was put in there just because they had me in double-lock maximum security, and it's the most tedious ****ing thing. I can't think of anything more boring. There's a Japanimation cartoon I've been trying to watch on Cartoon Network called Witch Hunter Robin, and that's almost as boring.

    Oh, you mean cancelled.

In that case, its not. But it is out of production.

But don't blame Nick for this like you blame them for Zim. In a way, to blame Nick is to complain about how they pushed around Stephen Hillenburg just to milk a cash cow, causing him to leave.

I wonder if Fred Seibert, Butch Hartman and K-C (Producers of other Nick Cash Cows) are next. By that time, as soon as the people behind all of Nick's majors are gone, the fatcats will hopefully realize the honest way to get viewers.

Yes, I realize there is not abuse involved (except for the case of Craig Bartlett) but maybe Hillenburg left because he was outraged over Nick's poor programming practices. If that's the case, then it won't be long until K-C (Rocket Power and As Told By Ginger) and Hartman & Co. (The Fairly OddParents) leave.
I think Scooby-Doo is knida over-rated and all of the HB Dogs should be praised.
Wouldn't it be great if their could be more Peanuts specials on DVD?
It was just what my career needed - I was at the top and now I'm at the bottom.

It's sort of confusing why he stopped the episodes. One report was that he felt run out by the show and he didn't like where it was going. Another report was that he would take some time off, make a movie, and then he might go back to the series.

Exactly. I thought it was cancelled, but I have heard too many different reports to know.

it sounds like it has stopped production IMO someone who works at the Nicktoons animation centre in Burbank posted this on my Nickelodeon & Nicktoons message board

There are still a few people up there... Mostly just steve Hillenberg and a few others. We are all hoping that he will (and that the network will) decide to pick up more

As you may already know, it takes approximately 6-8 months for a complete episode to be ready for air... so ... If they want to start making any new ones for next year, they'd better get to it!
Auggie Doggie's right, if the reports so far are true, Spongebob being "cancelled" isnt Nick's fault this time
