And I thought Fanboy's theme song was bad. This series, like all others alienating Nick right now, is way too kiddish for my taste. And here I thought we had another Jimmy Neutron on our hands.

I'm enjoying it so far and great cameo from Back at a the Barnyard.![]()
Ask me about a movie chances are I've seen it!
The characters from Back at the Barnyard took me by surprise a little. Nevertheless, I find this to be a decent cartoon.

So far, I'm liking what I'm seeing Sheen's like he was on Jimmy Neutron which I'm glad. The animation is a bit different but I'm ok with that and I like all the characters that have been introduced to us, over all I give it a 5/5. I'm going to stay tuned![]()
One Piece fan. Bleach fan.
Just caught it. I was a big fan of Jimmy Neutron in its heyday, but I'm not sure if Sheen can carry an entire show himself. He's just too much of a comedy character to not get sick of him at some point.
The first episode is a mixed bag. The character designs look too complex from what JN usually used, but I can get used to that. Nobody in the cast seems to stand out much as well, they just meld together and act as Sheen's wacky alien neighbors or something. Everything also seemed to move to fast. I liked that Barnyard cameo though, too bad Jimmy was only referenced through notes.
Overall, the first episode is pretty disappointing. I'm going to give it more chances though, because Jimmy Neutron and Back at the Barnyard both had bad starts. I hope it can come into its own instead of simply being Sheen randomness like the scene transitions seem to imply.
Didn't really watch Jimmy Neutron, but I decided to give Planet Sheen a chance. It was alright. It was interesting to see everyone's reactions to Sheen's traditional awkwardness. I take it Dorkus isn't a fan, though.

"HE Who Destroys the House of Dorkness, Must be Destroyed" What a dipstick. Good Shot Sheen
So, did Sheen and Libby break up? He seems to be eying the blue girl.
And they just had to put Carl or a Carl lookalike into this show.
I remember a few years ago Keith asked people if we would watch a Sheen and Carl show, but with no mention of the other characters. I wonder if this is what he was talking about.
*groan* Yet another show centered around a screaming moron. The pilot was pretty awful, and doesn't show much promise.
Now 20% cooler

Well, I liked it, but it was outshined by TUFF Puppy. It wasn't too funny, and the fact that I prefer 2D over 3D, made this one a show to watch when I'm bored to me.
This is the only episode of the series I have seen and, if this is any indication of how the rest of the series is, I don't plan on watching any more. I felt the plot wasn't very strong and maybe a little cliched. The new characters weren't developed much and dame off as annoying (especially Sheen). The humor seemed too immature (did they have to include a bathroom joke?) and I didn't find anything particulary funny. Also, being a bit of a Rob Paulsen fan, I was kind of looking forward to seeing the Carl-like alien who was featured in the promos. But, sadly, he only made a brief appearance at the end of the episode.

I wasn't a fan of JNBG, especially since every episode had the exact same formula, but I thought I'd give this show a chance. Then I saw a trailer in which Sheen shoved his arm through his nose and out his ear. It was worse than Joker's disappearing pencil trick from Dark Knight. The next part of the trailer revealed something even MORE disturbing: an expy of Carl. Honestly, I considered watching this show because I thought it would be free of the main reason I didn't like JN. Carl was nothing but an obnoxious stereotype. He was the definition of unfunny and added nothing of value to the series. I do not understand why they would bring him back. But this, THIS:
Are the creators TRYING to give me reasons to not watch this show? Screw this I'm goin home.
