Important!: Don't Let Your Kids Watch Nick 2/16!!!!

    Like This Thread!
If you want the animation industry to keep it's sanity and save your fav. cartoons from being overshadowed, or worse, by the worst cartoon of all time, Rocket Power, this is what you have to do:

Under any curcumstances, DO NOT LET YOUR CHILDREN, NEPHEWS, NIECES, COUSINS, YOUNG NIEGHBORS OR ANY LITTLE KIDS WATCH NICKELODEON ON FEBRUARY 16, 2002!!!!

If you want to save animation's sanity and keep your favorite cartoons, such as The Simpsons, The Fairly Oddparents, Spongebob Squarepants or anything oldschool, from being overshadowed by Rocket Power, the worst cartoon to ever hit the airwaves, or even worse, incinerated, follow that step.

Several alternatives to watching that garbage include:

    • Going out to the video store and renting a video
    • Watching some other show on TV, such as Balto 2: Wolf Quest on Cartoon Network or the Olympics on NBC
    • Going out and having a blast with your kids, such as at a family amusement center or on a ride
    • Playing video games on the Nintendo Gamecube, Playstation 2 or whatever console you have.

But, still, whatever you do, DO NOT WATCH NICK ON FEB. 16!!!!
I think Scooby-Doo is knida over-rated and all of the HB Dogs should be praised.
Wouldn't it be great if their could be more Peanuts specials on DVD?
It was just what my career needed - I was at the top and now I'm at the bottom.

I don't watch Nick must so I have to ask: why is the date 2/16 important? Is there a Rocket Power marathon or something?

I'm not really sure what Rocket Power has to do with stuff like the Simpsons, but I'm not exactly planning on watching it anyways...

I think that's the day the Rocket Power TV Movie airs. Personally, I enjoy Rocket Power every now and again, but would prefer the Wild Thornberrys or Rugrats if I had to choose a favorite Klasky Csupo show.

WHOO! The Rocket Power movie is *NOT* getting a theatrical release, then? GOOD! Let the idiot saps that actually WATCH that smudge on the animation canvas enjoy it in their own station rather than have the rest of us get bombarded by promos and posters.

And if you think I'm being rather rude or cruel, consider what I would have done if the movie WAS going theatrical like other Klasky Csupo toons have in the past.
What you call Courage, is it not just Pride?
What you think is Love, could it not be just Lust?
Has your want for Friendship ever been blinded by your Wrath?
Does your thirst for Knowledge ever get tainted by Greed?
Does your sense of Reliability ever come short and become Sloth?
Is it truly Sincerity...or merely Envy?
Is it truly Hope that you seek or are you just a victim of Gluttony?

    Where are your Savers...?

Rocket Power I think would be a little better if they got better voice actors, writers, and more realism to it. I know it's a cartoon, but too many of the tricks on there are basically impossible, and with alot of the accidents they have, they hardly come out un-scathed?

I would never support Rocket Power anyway, it's one of the worst Nick shows on, and that's truly bad.

    All of Nick sucks.
Except Invader Zim. The last good show on a horrible network.

Scratch that. Rocket Power would be better if they got new and better writers, voice actors, animators, musicians, advertisers, etc. Then said writers and animators make the show more adult by mixing Cowboy Bebop and Futurama together. Change the name of the cartoon to Jet Grind Radio, change the plot, theme and charcaters to match said video game. Then you move Jet Grind Radio to Cartoon Network and CN pays me royalties.

I never watch Nick anymore, now that Invader ZIM is gone. So this won't be hard at all.

What is Rocket Power anyway? I haven't seen any ads or pictures, but then again I rarely if ever watch Nick anymore. What a change from just a few years ago.

R****t P****r is the biggest POS in the history of all televsion animation. How the kids like that is beyond me. My sister has forced me to watch it on several ocasions and here is what I got out of it. The brother, Otum or somthing like like, is an a-hole, he has a stupid idiot friend, and a geeky friend and a sister, and they all learn some stupid lesson. Repeat for every other episode. If Skike from X-Men and all the characters from this show were killed, tht would make my day
Yup. It's a signature. Go away if you're expecting something interesting here.

It's a stupid show about these kids who live in hawaii or something and all they do is skateboard and surf. And they talk stupid. You know what on second thought I just might watch barney instead of that lame rocket power show if I had to choose one.

Dude,I love rocket power (not as much as like the zillion anime I watch.) But it's a good show. It helped me lose weight,by playing sports other than the subway diet! J/K
