Talkback: Invader Zim Holloween Spectacular of Spooky Doom

    Like This Thread!

The Zim Holloween special aired today at 5 PM ET!

If you missed it, I'm truly sorry for you, because it won't air ever again.

But for those that managed to see it, post your thoughts here!

My thoughts remain the same as they did last year. A good episode, but not the best. However, there's lots of wonderful imagery, and dancing skeletons!

I watched it last year. I thought it was the funniest episode. Great animation.

Well, I missed it today, but I taped it when it first aired last year, so I care not.

It's a great episode, of course. Hopefully all the ZIM neophytes saw it.

The debut of MY HEAD'S NOT BIG... the hundreds of well-designed Nightmare Monsters, including the elusive Nightmare NNY. And Poonchy was in it. Yay.

Which show was before/after Zim? Maybe I can still catch it?

I finally got to see it! Very nice. Vasquez really knows how to design creepy monsters. It's just a shame that we won't ever see another Halloween Zim special.

It wasn't just Vasquez that designed the monsters...

I caught the tail end of this episode but it's still one of the greater ones.

Seeing it for the 2nd time, and probably the last time. I truly forgot how good the writing on that show was. There was just nothing about that show, especially that episode I didn't like.

Just at a random moment,I turned on Nick and saw the U-Pick. I hoped and hoped for Zim, and it came through!

I recored it last year, and I took the tape with the episode to school, and we watch it in my Biology class. People were laughing at hard the stuff like Gir was doing to the kids,Zim and Dib Converstion about Corn, and Nightmare Bitters made them laugh like hard. So I kinda made more Invader Zim fans. This tape have most the first episodes of Zim that air before Mysterious Mystery/Future Dib. Here my fave quote from the episode. "Men, I'm Scary!" that qoute made my entire class laugh hard.

Watched it earlier today and really loved the designs for the monsters as well as the animation. Visually, it was really something to behold, and it was entertaining to boot. This was the highlight of Halloween specials for me this year.

Yesterday would be the 50th-something time I've watched it.(vcrs rock) One of my favorite part(s) is when NightmareMembrane walks out the house w/ Dib and he says "Heh heh heh...I'm FLOATING!"...god,I cracked up there. Missed most of the rest of the eopisode from luaghing so much....not just from that joke. Good thing I haves it recorded,no?

Not the bestest halloween special ever made (Rocko's probally being the best halloween special...maybe AngryBeavers...I've never seen it...only the last minute.)

For those of you who missed it: there are places on the net where you can download these episodes, and they're not too hard to find (although these places shall remain unnamed, due to ToonZone policies).
