Whereas the few episodes I watched were tiring for me.
Oh, and sometimes the Portuguese sub feed ended too late and aired half of the theme song.

Nicktoons seems to still be advertising new TUFF episodes, though they've already finished the show last weekend. I've noticed that when I was watching Spongebob and Robot and Monster.

This is very strange, it seems that they forgot to remove the promo or something.

Or maybe there's a new episode on today but an old one is mistakenly advertised instead.

Yes, this is strange indeed, a "new episode" being a repeat is strange.

I'm surprised with the cancellation, I thought the cartoon was very successful.

Must be why recently Nickelodeon Brazil removed of their programming, is currently being displayed only on Nickelodeon HD.

It wasn't successful in most of the countries it aired. The show hasn't been seen in it's entirety over here.
Plus, the EU-PT dub was made at 112 Studios.

Makes you wonder. Was the writing really that bad that its terribleness transcended the limitations of the human tongue, a Tower of Babel of Mediocrity if you will? People seem to like the characters. It's one of the most popular cartoons, fanworks wise, Nick has had since Avatar. Kitty herself was hugely successful and you don't need to be drilled much in the ways of the internet to know why. Seems like they messed up big time with this cartoon, it could've been a much bigger hit, but instead of gunning for a Spongebob replacement, Hartman was trying to settle for a FOP replacement and he got neither.

It did finish its run in Latin America at least. Over there, they ran random premiere weeks of new episodes.

And it still airs regularly on a handful of terrestrial channels in the region (like TVMax in Panama).
