According to MTV News, Lauryn Hill will be putting out a new album, and it WILL be released THIS YEAR!

I'm excited but with the huge success and popularity for her first album the question is...will she be able to live up to her first album?

So, anyone else excited that she's putting out a new album?

It's about time... I loved her her first album and when she was in The Fugees. I just hope this new CD launches with a bang with artist lke Alicia Keys, Jill Scott, and Nora Jones she better watch out.

I love Lauryn Hill. Her first CD is one of the best CDs I've ever bought. That's the bad thing though, I have a feeling whatever she makes won't live up to her first CD...

BTW, LH is far from racist. A little dense (leaving the industry at the height of her career) but not racist.

I for one am glad shes coming out w/ another CD. Her last album was one of my favs.
