How did they film that show? It didn't look like video. It was kinda of annoying to watch.

With regards to the opening act. What is up with Britney? She is so going way out of her way to change her image and it usually happens on the MTV awards. I am no prude and wouldn't mind her style or antics except the fact that my 8 year old likes her(old Britney) and with the stuff she is doing now I won't let her watch.

Just when I thought Madonna,Christina, and Britney couldn't get anymore Dirrrttty!

Anway it was a good show, nice performaces, fanservice, and making fun of Justin Timberlake's PUNK'D(classic)

    BTW:I wasn't bashing Madonna's,Christina's,Britney's Performace.

If Madonna wasnt in it that kiss would have been alot hotter to me. Id rather have seen Britney kiss Christina, Madonna has never looked good to me. Other than that it was entertaining and Chris Rock was funny as usual.

Atleast he figured out that most people wasn't going to be happy with that choice. He sure was quick to throw out how much he liked Eminem and Johnny Cash!

Some people in the production staff need to be fired. Between half of the people not being miked well enough to the failed Duran Duran tribute, the production sucked most of the time. And did I miss a Missy Elliot performance? When she won the Video of the year award she seemed in costume to perform but I know I didn't see it, was it in the usually painfully self-congratualtory postshow?

    Highlights of the night:

    - Coldplay's AMAZING performance

    - "Good Charllotte? More like a mediocre Green Day." "50 Cent has taken more shots to the face than Jenna Jameson." "I'm STILL not gonna make fun of Eminem." "Great song guys! I sure hope you didn't slit your wrists to THAT one." - Chris Rock, my 3rd favorite comedian, MTV was smart as hell getting him back, Fallon sucks.

    - Redman coming out all serious for his performance, then yelling out "Yo! Meth! What's up baby!?"

    - "I love ******* and ****! Yaaayyyy!!" - Special Ed

    - The Eminem / Special Ed bit.

    - Snoop bringing two girls in mesh clothing attached to leashes

    - At the BET awards, 50 Cent said this at his 2nd award "I wanna thank Vivica Fox for wearing that dress." and now he's showing up in a pimp suit with her half naked......gotta love it.

    - The love they gave Barry White and Greg Hines

    - Missy, after like 26 nominations FINALLY winning some awards.

    - Eminem saying "They make you give these awards back, but 50 is the only one I've ever seen actually carry them offstage" Ya god damn right, ain't noone takin 50's statues, hahaha.

    - Lebron James holding the envelope above Ashanti till he got a kiss

    Bad Highlights Of The Night-

    - Christina Aguilera is getting freakin fat, along with Adam Sandler

    - Nelly and Murphee Lee's introduction for Christina was just freakin retarded as they were giggling like 13 year old schoolgirls.

    - Beyonce's hair.

    - Whoever that guy was that jumped on stage when Snoop was on and was escorted off by security, I couldn't tell if he was a celebrity or just a random nut

All in all, leaps and bounds over last years, and while it was FUNNIER than the BET awards, it wasn't BETTER.

Still, Special Ed is the greatest. Yayyyyyyy.

HAHAHAHA I forgot all about that!! That was the greatest moment of the entire VMA's, it's great to see Stewie is still alive and kicking, crudely drawn and animated, yes, but still alive and kicking. There's hope for Family Guy I tell you!

I don't know whether it's a good thing or a shame that the most memorable part of the night on a music show is when some females kiss each other. Who performed again? lol

Chris Rock was funny in the first 15 minutes! I can't believe I got upset when he was finished his monologue! I would have been just as content with him telling jokes through the whole show.

It's ashame to know that Michael Jackson has done so much for MTV, music video, and just for alot of these pop artists these days, yet gets disrespected right before his birthday. MTV is low....

I forgot about the Stewie segment. The 50 Cent comment he made was HILARIOUS!
