New CGI Garfield Movie - Lorenzo Music = Failure

This would essentially be the first major Garfield project since the death of Lorenzo Music. Btw, i think the movie will suck, since nobody can replace Lorenzo properly. He was the great voice of Garfield for 20 years. A completely animated Garfield Movie would be okay, But a live action one would Suck.

Baby Blues, Dilbert, Blondie, Ziggy, Snuffy Smith, Family Circus, Cathy, For Better or Worse, Beetle Bailey, Calvin and Hobbes, The Far Side.

Movies i think would make Horrible LA Films
Krazy Kat, Pogo, King Aroo, Barnaby, Katzenjammer Kids, Any other Comic.

I agree..without Lorenzo, it WILL suck. but I'm probably going to end ups eeing it anyway. In my opinion NO comic strip sould be made into live action, (ESPECILLY Calvin & Hobbes)

I used to think this too, until I heard Bill Murray was going to replace him. It's still not the same, I know, but I don't think this is what's going to make the movie suck. It's the rest of the production, including the misuse of CGI effects that will cause this movie to fail.

I'm tired of people complaining about how replacement voice actors cant live up to the originals, especially when the originals are DEAD. They're doing the best they can. Get over it.

And lets think about this here.

Lorenzo Music played Peter Venkman in RGB, giving his own spin on the Bill Murray character.

Now Bill Murray's playing Garfield in a live action movie, giving his own spin on Lorenzo Music's performance.

Bill Murray? I think that's a good deal, actually- he sounds enough like Lorenzo that it shouldn't be too foreign-sounding to people who are used to the old Garfield.

I'm fine with Bill Murray; in fact, it's a brilliant decision.

But that's the ONLY good decision they've made with this movie. Every other possible thing they could've done right with this movie was done wrong.
