Are we talking about scores or soundtracks? I ask this because BATMAN RETURNS doesn't have a soundtrack - just a score with Elfman's music and one song tacked onto the end. BATMAN and BATMAN FOREVER both have score and soundtrack CDs - and so does BATMAN & ROBIN, but the score CD is very, very rare.

Ultimately I went with...nnnngh...Danny Elfman's BATMAN score CD as my favourite disc of music based on the mainstream Bat-movies. But I really do like all of them - except for that Prince CD.

i was thinking along the lines of the various ar****t soundtracks mainly.. the great batman movie scores of the past should still be reconized though. i realize that batman returns only had a score but i just figured i'd give that movie some kind of representation in the poll-not to mention the fact that it had some of the best music since mask of the phantasm.

Well Return Of The Joker is my FAV Batman related...

I would have to cite both the Elfman Batman score and Prince's Batman album as my fav from the films. Elfman's score was fantastic. I love that CD to death. Especially Flight Of The Batwing..

I recall getting the Prince Batman inspired album from my dad. I suppose that was why it was so memorable. I rarely got gifts from him (yeah, he'd give my mum money to get me and my sister Xmas/Birthday gifts, but never anything he had picked) so to get this from his return from Australia made it something special.

Something he had chosen whilst on his trip that he felt would suit me. I enjoyed it as an album too. "Electric Chair", "Partyman", "The Future" were all cool songs.. I listened to it non stop. I hadn't bought many before (I think I was 15) and it was one of my first.

Funny thing is, I was told just last year by my mum that it was bought at the local garage. It may have even been by her. His trip was bogus too I believe. No one knows why he went to Australia. He sold my mum's car to go and came back in two days.. I've always wondered if it was another woman... *shrug*

I hate how this question always gets so messy with the "score" debate and what we are actually talking about. So going with what the normal person would consider the soundtrack...

I voted for Batman Forever. "Kiss From A Rose" is an awesome song and I also really enjoyed "The Riddler." There's really a lot of good stuff on there from people I've never even heard of.
