Music That You Wish You forgot!

    Like This Thread!
I was looking over my old CD's and tapes when I was thinking how some of the music I liked when I was in HS and a little in college was really crap. I am sure it has happened to others, I am sure, since tastes change as you grow older... So I ask: What was some of the music you liked when you were younger (no matter how long it has been) and now think it wasnt all that great?

I'll go first (since I opened this Pandora's box )...

    Ma$e
    Puff Daddy
Vanilla Ice (I think everyone suffered from this one )

I am sure more will pop up as time goes on...

    Off-hand, there's...

    - Ace of Base (though I'll admit there's a couple songs I still find catchy)
    - Kris Kross
    - MC Hammer
    - Wham! / George Michael
    - Vanilla Ice

I used to be into the entire Nu Metal scene. Limp Bizkit, Korn, crap like that. Luckily Linkin Park wasn't around back then...I don't think I could've forgiven myself if I liked that band.
It recently dawned on me that my signature could be interpreted as being said by me. For the record, this was not the case. If the previous signature reduced your opinion of me, please increase your opinion. Thank you.

I used to like plain music with no words, but not as much anymore.

    I only have a few.

    - Prodigy
    - Royal Crown Review (live CD and it bit, studio is probably better, but I'm out of that anyway....)
    - The Brian Setzer Orchestra (ok.... But Stray Cats were better)

Ugh, just come back from a end of year party which hosted a Red Hot Chillies Cover Band - they really did think they were the real thing (albeit grossly overweight). Forgot how much I hate the songs 'Californiacation and Suck My Kiss... ooo, and let's not forget under the Bridge!

Sorry, I'm sure my hatred for this band is unpopular but it's very prominent right this minute!

There is one song that I actually listened to a few times a long time ago, but have found it annoying for the last few years. I do not know the title, but the main words are something like "a bright, bright, bright, sunshiny day." I really wish I forgot that one.

and I don't know who it's by, but I think the song you're referring to, Pilmedium, is "I Can See Clearly Now"

I remeber being a fan of Backstreet Boys and 'Nsync in middle school. Yes I'm that young.

I also liked Hanson and Spice Girls in 5th grade.

Now I cringe every time I hear them.

Yep, that's the one, and it's by Johnny Nash (who did better, but then I'd be going OT).
