how do you feel about the program we've got? we've had the same cds for 15 years, and "a hard days night" is the only movie still availible on dvd. well i'll tell you how i feel, it SUCKS! i see other bands such as the who and the rolling stones (which are great bands too) get remastered cds complete with bonus tracks. how about remastering the beatles cds? complete with tracks that appeared with only the us releases too.
how about a live cd too? the beatles anthology seems to be the only live stuff we'll get. how about the '65 shea stadium performance????? and the apple roof top performance (dont know if this is one the 3rd anthology)
come on. apple records is really letting us down. well me anyway.

Apple no longer exists. Unfortunately, Wacko Jacko, AKA Michael Jackson, outbid Paul McCartney for the whole Lennon-McCartney song catalog about 10+ years ago. That means that he completely controls most of the Beatles' music. This is why you see Beatles music in commericials. If it were up to John's family or Paul, there would be some nice stuff for the fans, or at least it wouldn't be in Nike commercials. Unfortunately, Jackson has a stranglehold on the rights until their time is up again...which is who knows when.
