ToonZone's LaunchCast Music Videos - Get You Geek On...
There's this site called Yahoo! LaunchCast where you can without any special viewer watch music videos.
After you sign in, you watch and rate videos that come at random or you can listen to specific genres to eventually customize your own net radio or music video station.
Here I thought we could post up cool music videos that you feel others of your ToonZone brethren should definately point, click and check out.
My first pick will be appearing on the upcoming Treasure Planet soundtrack and is an incredliby original and visually pleasing piece from Goo Goo Doll's front man John Rzeznik.
It's called I'm Still Here(Jim's Theme).
The other is featured on an upcoming PS2 game Run Like Hell. It's call, Polyamorous.
Both songs rock, but I'm wondering how I got the address of the second on. I just took it from another post I made.
So, if you have trouble posting up the link you'll need this "http://launch.yahoo.com/musicvideos/player/default.asp?videoID="
If you do a straight copy shortcut and paste you'll ned up getting "javascript
layVideos(1084694);"
So what you do is take the first thing I put up there, then insert the video number after the equal sign and everything should be fine.
It should end up looking like this:
http://launch.yahoo.com/musicvideos/player/default.asp?videoID=1084694
That song up there is another one of my favorite hits from a favorite geek rock band called Jimmy Eat World. It's called Sweetness.
Now if someone smarter than me can figure out how to just copy and past the right address..... please let us know.
In the mean time... enjoy the jams!

You bunch of Nancys...........
Anyway, looks like this will be just a personal collection for you and others to enjoy.
Here's a list of three funny whiney Geek Rock "why can't I get the girl!?" Videos:
First is a relative classic from MxPx called Chick Magnet.
Next on the list is the from another unknown but funny rockin' band called Bowling for Soup, called Girl All the Bad Guys Want.
Well no more whiney geek songs, but this one has to simply be the greatest video I've ever seen. Rap/R&B style this next video is from the Kings of Geek Rock, Weezer! Reason I say they do it Rap/R&B sytle is cuz they're "Featuring" the Muppets. We all know the song it's called Keep Fishin'.
Last on the list is a classic from the old school and I'm not sure alot of people saw. Early 90's but fwiggin' hilarious is the claymation/heavey metal retelling of The Three Little Pigs.
Point, click, enjoy and maybe.... just maybe post up some of your own.
Latah!

Cool topic you have here. I really don't have a theme, but I think they would "fit the board"...
Get a Clue by Simon and Milo - These guys, also known as Prozakk, always put out entertaining animated videos. If you watch all of their videos in row, they tell a story about two mideveal fighters who get sent to modern times to record pop music and find true love. They're really original, no matter how dumb the concept sounds.
Get Over It by OK Go - This one is way difficult to explain, but I'll try. Basically, it's a concert video with shots of stuff mentioned in the song shown throughout. (At one point in the chorus, they yell "Hey!", and a bale of hay is shown). And the stop the solo in the middle so that they can play ping-pong.
