Well, CD-wise, it would be Weird Al's "UHF."

On Vinyl? Hehe, Men at Work: Cargo.
My origins have been clouded in mystery... some say that I was once a man, known as Hamato Yoshi. Another tale states that I was once merely a humble pet rat of a man named Hamato Yoshi. For the record allow me to state that both are true... and yet, neither is true. Such is the way of Ninjitsu.

Hmmm. I really got to get the brain working for this one. I can remember using allowance money for either "Mickey Mouse Disco" or "Voyage to the Center of the Earth." I also remember breaking the stupid needles on my little record play all the time.

My first real music album was probably Led Zeppelin IV. I wore that cassette tape out pretty quick with constant play.

Ha! That was one of my first self-purchased 45's too.

This is a very hard question, because, my dad was a big music fan with a huge record collection, and around the time I got my first allowence (I know how spoiled that is ) he was often taking rides to the record store, and if I went with him he'd buy me a record, but I think the first one I bought with my own money was Run DMC's Raising Hell.

Hmmmm. This one makes me think way back. The first one I can remember purchasing myself was Weird Al's "In 3-D" on vinyl. I remember going over to my best friend's house and listening to it. We thought "Nature Trail to Hell" was the greatest song on the album, because back then "hell" was still a dirty word for us. We must have played that song 10 times that first night, laughing hysterically through it every time.

"With my feet upon the ground, I lose myself between the sounds
And open wide to suck it in, I feel it move across my skin.
I'm reaching up and reaching out, I'm reaching for the random, or what ever will bewilder me.
And following our will and wind we may just go where no one's been.
We'll ride the spiral to the end and may just go where no one's been.
    Spiral out. Keep going"

If you play it backward it says "Satan eats Cheez Wiz." Really.

I grew up in the '90s, so it's nothing but CDs for me.

My first CD: the score album to "Batman Forever" (Elliot Goldenthal).

Where do you find something like that? Sounds interesting.
I feel that a big problem with today's society is that we don't listen to our fellow man -- especially when I'm talking.

The first CD I ever bought was Final Fantasy: Pray.

Ironically enough, even before I read this thread, I was listening to the CD, hehe.

I found it at the bargain rack the local K-Mart. It's actually quite enjoyable. If I'm not mistaken, they also released albums playing the best of The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, and ABBA.

Ah, someone else whose first CD they bough was a FF related one.

My first CDs I purchased with my own money were FFVI:OST and FFVI: Grand Finale. They're Son May bootlegs but at the time I didn't know that they were bootlegs and not the legitamate DiGiCube label. ^^; They still sound fine though.

I never purchased any vinyl or cassettes though.
