The 2 that stand out in my mind right away are Tool's Aenima with the lenticular animation and Tool's Lateralus with the see through plastic body layers peelaway. There's a few others, but I cant seem to remember them at this moment.

2."Thick As a Brick" - Jethro Tull (It's less of an "album cover" in the classical sense and more of a platform to tell the fictional backstory of the album.)
1."Apollo 18" - They Might Be Giants (Nothing fancy, nothing elaborate. The perfect cover for their darkest album to date.)

I love the cover to the Dropkick Murphys' first album 'Do or Die' but I think the best one ever would have to be 'Sgt. Peppers or Abbey Road' by the Beatles. Followed shorlty after by the Clash's 'London Calling.'

Wow, those are some pretty intresting album covers! Geesh, and here I love the album covers from Chicago,lol. They have some pretty awesome covers, but some of the ones posted here are pretty dang cool.
