I could care less, but I think that Dirty Vegas should get the best dance video.

As soon as Eminem won any award I was finished with the MTV video awards. I won't call it the MTV Video Music awards because to me none of that is music. The only group/people on the list I like is Linkin Park.

I hope Pink wins. She's one of the few rising artists that actually has some talent. I also hope Linkin Park wins for "In The End". I love that song. Other than that, I have no real interest for this years Video Music Awards.

When does MTV have time to show videos? What with all the Road Rules/Real World/Tough Enough marathons...

In my opinion, the only video on the list that deserves anything is The White Stripes. Everything else is just overly produced crap exploiting women and trying to be funny. I hope this pop fad clears over soon because I'm getting sick of MTV promoting nothing but overly produced untalented artists like Eminem and Missy Elliot.

Wha? You my friend, obviously have no idea what you're talking about, many of the videos listed were actually go, and in no way fit your description of " overly produced crap exploiting women and trying to be funny". And you don't have to like Eminem and Missy Elliot, but to say they're not talented is just laughable.

Eminem is NOT talented. He is overrated and anybody could string together the words he says. Every song sounds the same(at least on the new album which I heard) and they all are really really stupid.

All of these artist are not straight "POP".

Missy Elliot, Eminem, Aaliyah, Usher, Ja Rule, Ashanti, Pink, Linkin Park and many others of artist are not pop their Rap, Hip-Hop, Rock and R&B. The only pop acts I see are Nsync and Britney Spears. And to say that these artist doesn't have talent is really "stupid" (sorry couldn't find any other word to say ) They worked their butts off to be were they are today at least give them some credit for that. I think God gave everybody a talent to use well and wisely.

    - Peace.

I personally am not going to watch the video awards, but I'll check out some of these vids.

The last time I saw Kylie Minogue was the 1994 Street Fighter movie. That IS bad... Now I hear she is actually hot (she was before also, but she had big teeth )

I personally think that the more outspoken artists indeed have talent, but it often is seriously misguided. And I am not going to start on the women's issue, but only because I don't have the current music video scene knowledge to make a decent argument.

    Later.

I really have to object here.
That is your opinion, you state it as if it were a fact or something.
Eminem is very talented and is in the same category with other great rappers such as Tupac,Biggie, Jay-Z,and Nas. Every song does not sound the same on his new album or as a matter of fact ANY of his albums.
