Most non-specific question; What is your favorite band?

    Like This Thread!
Plain and simple. You like music; you KNOW you do. As do I. Music and Cartoons(and any sub-catagory of it) are probably the most influencial things in my life, and I'm sort of under the assumption its the same way with the rest of you. So I have to ask; What IS your favorite band?
Just one thing; Please don't post things like "OMG I H8 METALLICA BUT LINKIN PARK RULZ 4EVA!" or on the opposite end of the spectrum "You're all tools of the media and have no music taste. I only listen to unsigned underground bands. FIGHT THE POWER!" In other words, be nice. Or I'll cry.

    My answer to this question?
Soul Coughing. My absolute favorite band EVER. Michael Doughty, as drug soaked as his poor little brain is, is total musical genius. Raymond Scott, the Sneaker Pimps, Kid606 and Nine Inch Nails also rank quite quite high on my list.

    Your turn! =D

I'm an ever growing fan of The Calling. But other bands high on my list are: Five for Fighting, Nickleback, Creed, Sum41, Lifehouse, Beatles, Eagles, Beach Boys.

Faith No More is possibly the biggest influcence, that and Frank Black's Pixies and Catholics projects.

As shocked as I am to ever hear myself say it, I've also been enjoying the Bloodhound Gang latest which I found in my mothers car (I bought it for her birthday - she wanted it! )

The defunct "At The Drive-In" is my favorite band. 3 of the 5 members did create a new band, after finding a new 4th guy, the band is called "Sparta." It's a lot like ATDI, but I still prefer the original

    The ultimate trinity.

    The Beatles for Love

    The Eagles for Truth

The Rolling Stones for Hate. (This is not necessarily a bad thing, just angry music about anything.)

    Well,
    Queen
    The Beatles
    Five Iron Frenzy
    The OC Supertones
    Newsboys
    DC Talk
    The Who
    Brave Saint Saturn

That's about it. I listen to alot of Christian music.
If you get put in solitary, it ****ing sucks. I was put in there just because they had me in double-lock maximum security, and it's the most tedious ****ing thing. I can't think of anything more boring. There's a Japanimation cartoon I've been trying to watch on Cartoon Network called Witch Hunter Robin, and that's almost as boring.

KoRn. I mean seriously, I like the message they send out and I identify with alot of the stuff..It's like at my school, I'm an outcast it's just nobody knows it because in order to fit in and avoid being ridiculed I hang with people and don't like and act like someone I'm not. Because being "too different" ie. liking rock, having a band, not buying 76 dollar pants when the gap has good one for 20 bucks is not "cool".

And when I listen to the music I get to reflect and think.

Savage Garden is my fave, even if they broke up. I like Darren Hayes but, it isn't that same without Daniel Jones. And I also like the Beatles. But the Hollies were better IMO. And yet I like the Mamas and The Papas. I have a weird music taste. +

    Simply said...

    Rush.
My origins have been clouded in mystery... some say that I was once a man, known as Hamato Yoshi. Another tale states that I was once merely a humble pet rat of a man named Hamato Yoshi. For the record allow me to state that both are true... and yet, neither is true. Such is the way of Ninjitsu.

At one point it was Matchbox20. All my friends think of Matchbox if they were to pick out my favorite.
