In no particular order, here are 5 randomly chosen videos from an extensive list...

    -"Sexcrime (1984)" by Eurhythmics
-"Love Is A Battlefield" by Pat Benatar
    -"Lovelite" by O'Bryan
-"Screaming In My Pillow" by Stacey Q
    -"Take On Me" by A-Ha

All 80s videos, and that's only 5...there's plenty more where that came from if you want it.

    Sincerely,

    John "outofplacechild" Kilduff

    "Spark" -Tori Amos
"Fast as You Can" -Fiona Apple
"All is Full of Love" -Bjork
    "God" -Tori Amos
    "Paper Bag" -Fiona Apple

All of those videos came out pretty much the same time TRL was out (except God and maybe Spark) so not many people ever got to see these great master pieces. Those videos are tuely amazing, and the songs are beautiful. Though Fast As You Can was on TRL once...I think. I know at least two Fiona videos were on TRL. Those were good days. Very rarely did a good video actually make it on that show.
""Sit in the chair and be good now" and become all that they told you"- Tori Amos "Girl"

"She's convinced she could hold back a glacier, but she couldn't keep baby alive"- Tori Amos "Spark"

    In no particular order.....

    "Billie Jean" Michael Jackson

"Video Killed the Radio Star" the Buggles

    "Take On Me" A-Ha

    "Thriller" Michael Jackson

    "Truely, madly, Deeply" Savage Garden

This is only a small sample....there are many videos I like, mostly from the '80s and early '90s.
In 1972 a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles underground. Today, still wanted by the government, they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire the A-Team.

Like I said in the Top 3 Comedies thread, I couldn't tell you my top 5 videos, but here's 5 favorites of mine. As you can see, I offer up quite an eclectic list:

    1. "Thriller" - Michael Jackson. Great dancing and theatrical value.
    2. "No Rain" - Blind Melon. A touching visual tale of a little girl in a bee suit searching for her place in life.
    3. "Tarzan & Jane" - Toy Box. This wasn't necessarily a great contribution to the musical world, just a funny video.
    4. "Californication" - Red Hot Chili Peppers. The band is thrust into an entirely CGI video game scenario. Stunning visuals.
    5. "Back That Thang Up" - Juvenile. This is an example of Cash Money at their best, and the only recollection I have of an enforced lyrics edit actually improving an already good song. I love the opening with the guys on violin.

In no particular order and by no means set in stone:

Any video by Radiohead - the most original videos by the greatest band in the world

Last Nite by The Strokes - they refused to lip synch so performed it live and looks very retro. directed by Roman Coppola

Trouble by Coldplay - surreal as it gets

???? by The Hives(don't know the song title, nor am I a fan of the song, but one of the coolest videos I've ever seen)

German Expressionist one by Red Hot Chili Peppers

First date - Blink 182 (Makes me laugh every time...! I like a bad which can mock itself.)
Last Cup Of Sorrow - Faith No More (Hitchcock parody)
God Gave Rock And Roll To U - Kiss (great film montage!)
    Sonne - Rammstein (Great direction)
Learn To Fly - Foo Fighters (Again, self mocking and highly amusing)
