    Spider-Man Soundtrack Playlist

    Like This Thread!
Here it is! I'm a bit dissapointed...from the looks of the two Elfman scores, we may not get a score CD...

    DEFAULT- "Blind"
    COREY TAYLOR- "Bother"
    ALIEN ANT FARM- "Bug Bytes"
    DANNY ELFMAN- "Farewell"
    DANNY ELFMAN- "Main Titles"
THE HIVES- "Hate To Say I Told You So"
CHAD KROEGER and JOSEY SCOTT- "Hero"
    INJECTED- "I-IV-V"
THEORY OF A DEAD MAN- "Invisible Man"
    BLACK LAB- "Learn To Crawl"
    MACY GRAY- "My Nutmeg Phantasy"
JERRY CANTRELL- "She Was My Girl"
    GREENWHEEL- "Shelter"
    BLEU- "Somebody Else"
    AEROSMITH- "Theme From Spiderman"
    PETE YORN- "Undercover"
SUM 41- "What We're All About"
    THE STROKES- "When It Started"

Well, doesn't look entirely bad. I'll still pick it up, of course.

mmm....a Score mixed with a Soundtrack..... scary...

I hope we get a Score. I don't like buying Soundtracks very much (although I did pick up the awesome Scorpion King soundtrack...movie will probably suck..but the soundtrack kicks.. )

Yep - why in the name of all that is good and decent did they have to put Macy Gray on this cd (or any other for that matter).
Seriously she has the voice of a cat stuck in a meat grinder - if she begins to have a song on the radio I pound keys until it goes away. Geez, her one track alone is almost enough to make me not want to buy this cd! Aaarghh!!! That and her guest appearance on the movie! Hopefully the Green Goblin will drop a pumpkin bomb on her - but we're not that lucky, are we?

Bird Boy's right tho - the Scorpion King Soundtrack does kick!

What lunatic put that soundtrack together? I think they blindfolded themselves and threw darts at a dartboard. I can see it now...

Okay let's see for (throws a dart) track three, we have (throws another dart) Alien Ant Farm!

That is dreadful. Never mix scores with songs as one or the other stick out like a sore thumb!

Plus some pitifully bad bands there just for commercial viability. AAF, Sum 41.. no thanks.

    I'll be staying WELL away!

    I shoulda known this'd happen.

Only two Danny Elfman tracks, and the "Spider-Man" theme not performed by the Ramones. You bet your butt I'll be avoiding this album when it pollutes record stores.

I wouldn't worry too much about a score album; "Men in Black" had this exact same situation when it came out, and we managed to get a score album from that film.
I feel that a big problem with today's society is that we don't listen to our fellow man -- especially when I'm talking.

Here's the revised listings, courtesy of Superherohype:

"...here are 2 versions of the Spiderman theme on the Soundtrack. The first song on the soundtrack will be the original 60's cartoon theme song. The final track on the Soundtrack, #19, will be Aerosmith's take on that same theme.

The 60's theme song runs approx. 1 minute long. Aerosmith's version is an extended version...running 2 minutes and 57 seconds. Some BIG guitars and sounds in this one folks..."

Also...if nobody minds...could I start the official talkback thread for Spider-Man when the movies opens? Jim already gave me the thumbs up via email!

So in other words I can listen to the first three songs, listen to songs 6, 7 and possibly 8 and then go right to track 17 for the rest of the cd. So for 8 songs- gee it also seems worth it now . Tis a shame they couldn't put together a great soundtrack like the Scorpion King has done.
