I personally thought this was the weakest episode of this season. After all of the character based episodes this season, we get a lame excuse for the five original comic book X-Men to have an adventure together. There was no real dramatic punch in this episode besides the brief Kurt and Rogue scene (nice to follow-up on the brother and sister stuff after it went unmentioned for the entirity of Season Two).

I was overly disappointed with this episode.

Best episode of this season! My 3rd fave X-man has returned! I liked seeing a more unique pairing of X-men on this mission(the classic 5) Magneto's team was great. and so was Magneto! Pyro'ss constructs were great and so was his voice. I liked how Mesmero tricked Magneto. They've been Hyping up Apocalypse beautifully! I loved seeing collossus run though walls(alot less subtle than kitty does ) and love the little clanking noise pietro makes as he walks amored up. Any way i cant say enough good about this ep.

They didn't know they were related until the episode entitled Self-Posessed which happened this season.

Any, I thought that it was great that we finally got an action story that was fun and added to the sub-plot. I can't wait for the next episode I hear it's called Cruise Control I wonder what that is about?

I loved seeing Gambit in this episode as well as Pyro. I also like the fight scenes they reminded me of I4A. I hope Spyke returns because I really want to see what he looks like.

I can't belive that they are only 2 more episodes left untill the season ends. I wonder how KWB is going to strecth this out?

Start over from the beginning, of course. ^^

Well, they got the first season to last about as long... And, who knows, they have been asked to make more, like last season.

Anywho, I liked this episode, there wasn't any real drama but it did progress the plot and did so well. I actually think this has been one of the better episodes, though I don't think any of them have been bad save for 'Stuff of Heroes', which even then I enjoyed. Besides, an episode like this was overdue.

Actually there are four more episodes until the season ends. This was episode 39 out of 43. Kurt found out he was Mystique's son in season one and Rogue always knew they she was adopted by Mystique. What Rogue found out in Self-Possessed is that Mystique was Risty, her best friend, all along.

I loved the episode, I just don't feel like talking about it. Pyro spoke! Gambit was cool. Though the giant spider was kinda dumb, I liked how everyone almost teamed up against it. I really wonder what Apocalypse will look like. I still don't believe Gambit and Pioter have been villains for almost a whole season. I'm starting to think of them as villains instead of x-men. If the series ends with them still as villains I won't be happy. When is this X23 person going to appear!? All this suspense is killing me!

I think Apocolypse will appear in the two part season final.

I can't belive that Mesmoro is playing Magneto and Xavier for chumps. He is turning out to be more cunning than Mystique.

Kids'WB! has been playing new episodes almost non-stop, which is really good for us X-Men Evolution fans! They're already aired nine episodes which only leave four left. I bet they'll either stretch out the reruns over the next two months, then air a couple, and then hold the rest until May. Fox did that sometimes with Spider-Man. Or they'll take it off the air for awhile when the midseason shows come up.

I thought this was one of the best episodes in the season. Seeing Cyclops, Jean, Angel, Beast, and Iceman together as the original team. Also it was the first time Pyro spoke. I wonder if Gambit and Colossus will join the X-Men soon? I give this episode 5 stars. Also I think Season 3 is a lot better than Season 2.

I second that, I've been missing Angel since his first appearance so it was nice to see him again.

Well...this episode was interesting. We finally got to hear Pyro speak, woohoo! Although, I really could've done without the "it's gone down under!" comment. I also enjoyed seeing Magneto's team a bit more, not a lot of screentime for them this season.

I thought the Kurt/Rogue scene was perfect, and much needed.

Overall, it was a good episode. I am really curious to see how the rest of the season goes, but I have a feeling we're going to have to wait for quite a while.

I finally caught this episode. I loved the baseball game gone wacky at the beginning. Not much real significance in the five original members other then shutting up the fanboys. Nice to see Sabretooth back.

Now, that weird spider. I like the fact that opening the door doesn't require a key, but it felt strange in that Magneto was tricked into defeating it. Thought he was always ahead of the game. (On that note, go Apocalypse!) It was an okay episode, Angel didn't quite get the spotlight I was personally hoping for, but that's fine. 3.5 stars.

    Later.

Only 4 more episodes? Darn! I wish they would go back to the "longer" seasons of like 22 episodes. Evo ratings are supposedly good.

As for the episode, it was okay. Liked the use of Bobby's powers, the softball game, the added touch of the car alarm going off when Sabes slammed into it, etc. I especially liked the Kurt/Rogue conversation.
Alex: I wonder. Do we really ever love? People like you and me? Or do we just possess?

Alan: Perhaps, only if we are unable to possess.

    Alex: Then perhaps, we love.

If there are only four episodes left, I think they should hold off on them at least until Feb for sweeps. With virtually no competition, there is little cause to play the remaining ones so soon and leave us wanting more until Sept. Besides, the show should have enough episodes to go weekdays now, correct?

I felt this episodes was okay. It was more of a set up to the finale. What I did like is how Magneto was being played for a fool. Is it just me, or was him absorbing the energy from the green spider foreshadowing to an event that people would love to see happen

    Spoiler:
the creation of Onslaught. If they did do it, do you think KWB would have the nerve to put characters in mortal danger? I know that killing them is out of the question.

Oh, and my favorite part of the episode was the softball game in the beginning. Especially Beast, when he realized everything was about to go to pot, and just walked away.

I think that the reason Magneto got fooled was because things weren't going as he planned. Remember he had set up Mesmero and had him and the stone under his control and thought it was over and all he had to do was guard the last remaining piece. But somehow Mesmero escaped and set him off balance. And since he had no idea if that was the last door to be opened or not he didn't have time to set a "master plan". I also think fear set him off balance. Anyway if I were Magneto I would have just eliminated Mesmero and ended it there, but then there would be no big finale :\
