Stuff of Heroes was a good episode I will admit that the whole "Where's Professor" thing was rush they should of made it atleast two more episodes. I loved seeing Cyclops taking action maybe he's going into his comic persona and Rouge caring about being fat???? Ummm... maybe she also growing into her comic southern beauty charm Anyway overall I give this epsode 4 stars. It was nice seeing Iceman too and also hearing Scott say "Where not teenagers anymore were X-Men" was classic

If you get put in solitary, it ****ing sucks. I was put in there just because they had me in double-lock maximum security, and it's the most tedious ****ing thing. I can't think of anything more boring. There's a Japanimation cartoon I've been trying to watch on Cartoon Network called Witch Hunter Robin, and that's almost as boring.

    So, uh, why?

This is a separate talkback thread for today's EVO ep. Is that a problem? It shouldn't be.

This episode should have aired near the very end of the season IMO.

All the hype of how they'd all be outcasts and the Proffessor being missing washed away in the second episode of the new season. Why? I knew this was to good to be true. Everything is all nice and good again, dang.

Still despite the episodes placement, it was a good episode in its own right.

The fight with Juggernaut was well done with everyone being useful. Storm was pretty cool looking in civilian clothing. And the fact that they found the Proffessor in such an unsuspecting place was great.

I'd say it is a 4 star episode.

Because people like to talk and read about different shows seperately. I like POKéMON and JCA for example but talking about them in the same topic doesn't work for me.

I loved it. Evo continues to get better and Better. Cyclops really show'd his stuff this week. I had one problem though:When Cyke is blasting Juggernaut he didn't push the button on his visor. very minor gripe though. Plus Wolvies new suit debuted!!!And we see GAMBIT AGAIN!!! We didnt hear him but we saw him!

Uh.. the humans versus x-men thing is just getting started. People arent going to accept them because the president or whatever says so. They still have to face all these problems there just wont be an all out military attack on them.

I am a HUGE evo fan, no doubt about that, but I have a few mixed feelings on this one. Compared to last week's, I can't help but feel a little disapointed.

I felt Rogue seemed VERY out of character, but maybe that is just me. I got the same vibe from Wolverine, yeah, he's a loner, but would he really just abandon a bunch of helpless teenagers to the army? I think he respects the Prof and the Institute way too much for that.

I was very surprised by the Prof's location, good job writers! Never saw it comming! But...if Juggernaut was so heavily secured wouldn't they notice there was a mysterious bald man in the container? Ah well.

I think the thing that bothered me the most was that the New Recruits just suddenly showed up outta no where? I wanted to see what happened to them in the sewers!

Now, on to the good! Scottie boy is finally growing up! LOL, I'm glad he's taking his role as leader with more maturity now. I also thought the fight scenes were very well done!

And my fave part of the show? Seeing Magneto, Pietro, and Gambit! LOL, what can I say? I'm a fan of the villians (am anxiously awaiting 'The Stuff of Villians' episode). Where was the Brotherhood though?!

And, as a final note, anyone else getting tired of these dramatic X-men team shots where a mysterious gust of wind is going through all their hair? Yeah, their a team, we get it. No need for all these group shots.

I give it 4 1/2 stars. It was written very well, but Rogue seemed way out of character.

::snork:: Veeery nice episode, and it gave me the chance to explain X-Men to my mother, since it happened to be the first episode she's ever seen of any of the series. I kinda like the whole, "Hi, I'm Nightcrawler, and this is Shadowcat." "And this was your weapons system." "Bye!"

Cool ep i like seeing all of them fight on the same accord also i hope they keep Ice man and ditch that punk Spike {i hate his guts}And didn't you find it little unbelieveable when they were fighting Juggs. Especially when iceman, Spike and nightcrawl came rushing in to save scott. Juggs just back slap them away then minutes later they're standing up like nothing happen!! c'mon now Juggs is one the most strongest villains they should've least some broken bones And having Rogue zap his powers was a copeout you can't defeat him that easily

The agents at the convenience store spotted Rogue's distinctive blaze and pinched her and Logan. She should have thought to wear a hat.

Juggernaut gets an uncut dose of Scott's power, which, although it doesn't do much to him, can do a lot of damage (as evidenced by the bridge nearby). Not a fellow you want mad at you. I figured out where the Prof was the moment I saw his idiot half-brother out of the hyperkinetic goop and running loose--it wasn't that difficult--but why would Mystique try that trick again, knowing full well how deranged and uncontrollable he is?

Logan seemed shocked and angry that Scott was standing up to him, asserting his manhood, and telling him in no uncertain terms not to attack the military. It's understandable that Logan his issues with these people, considering what they did to him (and Steve Rogers) years ago, but acting like an animal wasn't going to accomplish anything but fuel the mass' prejudices. Later, as he ponders it, Logan may come to respect him for not backing down. Note also that Kitty and Kurt make every effort to not hurt anyone when they pop into helicopters (their little introductory bit was so cute!) and short them out, and Nightcrawler even pauses to rescue two soldiers before their chopper hits the water and blows.

Hank and Ororo on the floor of Congress --a highlight; Beast is best played as a logician and wit, rather than an apelike savage. I also liked the jerry-rigged big screen TV made of ice using a frozen Kitty as an antenna. I wonder if Bobby does sculptures for parties and bar mitzvahs?

I'm not sure what to make of Magneto's expression at the end--does he take some satisfaction that what he has warned Charles of for years played out just as he said, with man hating mutantkind, or bothered that once the genie was out of the bottle it couldn't be recorked?

The junior mutants were inexplicably in the team shot at the end...when did the rest of the team pick them up? And what about Caliban, the bald fellow they met last week in the sewers? I was expecting him and his Morlocks to assist (or maybe they only quartered the kids until the heat was off, not actually fighting actively).

Note the pun at the end on the anchor's name--"Frank Lee speaking". Possibly also an oblique ref to Marvel head honcho Stan,

Actually this was a pretty good episode...the continuing story archs are starting to make this show more interesting...it's still no where near as good as the old X-Men show on Fox back in the 1990s...but it's getting there. I have high hopes. The fighting scenes aren't near as corny anymore...plus, the show isn't too much of a stinkin' teen show anymore which is DEFINITLY a good thing...the show is "evolving." Funny...I'm starting to understand even more why it's titled that...yep...It'll never be good as the original...but for a show about the X-Men when they were kids...it's pretty good.

Ugh.. there should be NO X-Men and X-Men: Evolution comparison. Both shows have entirely different idenities. Let it go for Odin's sake!

Much better than the premiere episode. It was nice to FINALLY see Cyclops become the team leader, take a stand against Wolvie AND against Juggernaut. And best of all, Cyclops, along with the other Xmen, finally thought about their actions on the world and doing the right thing. SURE, the Xavier thing was rushed... but I'm sure they've delve into it in the weeks to come.

Well I mostly just don't like how X-Men Evolution contradicts the original X-Men series. But you have to admit it, it's becoming more and more like the original series all the time. So to say they have "entirely" different identities would not be completly accurate.

I have 2 problem's with the current direction of x-men evolution.

    1. Everyone in the world knows the x-men's secret identities and where their headquarers is and what it is for. Tis is similar to the crap that is new x-men by grant morrison and whatever artist is drawing that book at any given time. The x-men worked best and were more successful in terms of comics sales and tv ratings (the old fox series),when they were prtrayed as a mysterious group of outlaw mutant super heroes. I can see it now (in terms of future plot developments),jean's boyfriend is going to break up with her because she's a mutant, which will bring her and scott closer together (can anyone say "cliche"). You'll also probaly have some kid who thinks the x-men are "cool" and wants to be a mutant super hero just like them. There will also probaly be a story about how some kid or kids might want to hang out with one of the x-men or new mutants in order to exploit their powers for their own selfish means or benefits.

    2. Wolverine needs to wear a mask with that new costume of his. I think it isa mistake to try and make wolvie's costume more similar to the overated x-men movie aswell as the even more overated ultimate x-men comic.

Other then those 2 gripes, I love this show.
