    Hey Spidey fans!

I just put up a mini Q & A with John Semper on the newspage about some of the problems he ran into on Spider-Man, as well as his thoughts on the season arcs and how he handled Venom and Carnage! It's a great little read with some nifty behind the scenes info. I'd realll like to see some feedback. Click the link below:

Thanks Jim, great interview. I am pleased he but the black costume in, I thought it was one of the best story-arcs in Spider-man and the black costume was animated far better than the red and blue one. Carnage was also one of my favourite story arcs as well. They handled the whole him not being able to kill thing very well. I was dissapointed with the whole lack of symbiotes thing but am aware that he planned to open the next season with Carnage set in the past. Does anyone else know what other storyarcs Mr. Semper had? I would have loved to see more of it. Spider-man TAS is No. 2 on my favouritre cartoons EVER!

    good interview!

I was always curious about the way the series ended. it kinda didnt HAVE an ending-- was this an intentional nod on Semper's part to spdey being an 'ongoing neverending saga'?

That was a good read. Spider-Man is one of my favorite cartoons too.

A great interview with Semper. It was nice to see how he handled the restrictions and what he did with the Alien Costume mini-series. I loved the arc format of Spider-Man, and Semper made the show better by including it.

    Semper is a genious!

With all the problems he had to deal with, it's a wonder he was able to actually able to accomplish what he set out to do. Having to redo, redo, and redo scenes over and over again to appease the censors must have been extremely difficult.
