Any fans of the UPN Incredible Hulk series?

    Like This Thread!
You know... the one from about 5 or 6 years ago on UPN for 2 seasons. Since it is coming to ABCFamily in 2.5 weeks, I thought I would see what everyone thought of it. I only caught it once or twice myself, but I don't have much of a memory of it other than that the animation seemed to stick out a bit.

    Anyone?

I very much enjoyed it. The first season was the best of the show. It was dark, dreery, and just choke full of good ol' "HULK SMASH" action. The second season was good, but not great. The tone was lightened significantly and She-Hulk was added as sort of a sidekick to balance out the tone. A great series, though. Luke Perry as Rick Jones can seem a bit distracting at times, but the series is executed very well.

I loved this show and taped it every Sunday! I only got to see most of the first season though as I moved to an area that didn't get UPN before the second season began. The first season was incredible and had a lot of guest stars while also establishing the Hulk's character. The amount of guest stars in the series was also impressive - including Iron Man, Dr. Doom, Ghost Rider and Daredevil. I'm really looking forward to seeing this show again and finally seeing the episodes that I missed.

A side note - did you know that originally Wolverine was going to guest on an episode but UPN and Fox didn't want the cross-association so Wendigo was given an episode instead.

I do remember this show and I thought it was pretty good. I liked the second season more with She-Hulk although both seasons were terrific.

    Favorite eps of 2nd season:

    1. The one where Jennifer Walters (She-Hulk) attends her high-school reunion where she reveals to her old schoolmates that she's "changed" since then.

    2. The episode where She-Hulk and Betty Banner are part of a fashion show and help the Hulk stop the bad guys.

    3. The ep where She-Hulk gets a part in a movie

Good show while it lasted. Especially considering Hulk was played by the one-and-only Lou Ferrigno himself.

It was one of Marvels better animated series, that's for sure. Nice animation, some good voice casting, and a fairly action packed show that had some drama thrown into the mix. Too bad it got cancelled after only the second season because things were really starting to pick up around that point. If I remember right, the show being taken off the air was UPNs fault since they wanted to end their Sunday morning animation block in general. Was good while it lasted.
