Spider-Man 1960's EPisode Guide
With ABC Family now rerunning (at a regular basis) the 1960's Spider-Man series on the weekends , I thought I'd help out. TELETOON (www.teletoon.com) recently gave me the complete list of classic Spider-Man episodes. So, for those of you who are taping the episodes off ABC Family, hopefully this should help you.
1966 -- SPIDER-MAN Episodes # 1-52
Episode # 1: POWER OF DR. OCTOPUS
SUB-ZERO FOR SPIDEY
Dr. Octopus schemes to destroy an entire section of the city, and
SPIDER-MAN must stop him. Also, Professor Smarter creates a stable of Ice Creatures, and SPIDER-MAN must stop the city from freezing over.
Episode # 2: WHERE CRAWLS THE LIZARD
ELECTRO, THE HUMAN LIGHTENING BOLT
A serum turns a prominent doctor into a swamp creature called the Lizard,
and SPIDER-MAN must stop the new supercriminal. Also, SPIDER-MAN battles
Electro, the human lightening bolt.
Episode # 3: THE MENACE OF MYSTERIO
THE MENACE OF MYSTERIO, PART TWO
Mysterio impersonates SPIDER-MAN and commits a series of crimes, so
SPIDER-MAN must clear his name.
Episode # 4: THE SKY IS FALLING
CAPTURED BY J. JONAH JAMESON
SPIDER-MAN battles birds under the control of The Vulture. Also, Jameson
hires Professor Smythe, who creates a robot to track down and capture
SPIDER-MAN.
Episode # 5: NEVER STEP ON A SCORPION
SANDS OF CRIME
SPIDER-MAN faces the Scorpion, a super criminal with a mechanical body
suit, complete with a deadly stinging tail. Plus, the web-slinger must battle
The Sandman, a villain made of sand who can assume any shape.
Episode # 6: DIET OF DESTRUCTION
THE WITCHING HOUR
SPIDER-MAN must stop a giant, metal-eating monster from destroying
Manhattan. Then, the Green Goblin plans to use a brainwashed J. Jonah
Jameson in his evil schemes, unless SPIDER-MAN can stop him.
Episode # 7: THE KILOWATT KAPER
While in prison, Electro builds a
special kite to recharge his super-powers. He escapes, forcing SPIDER-MAN
to recapture him. Also,Red Dog Melvin escapes from prison and consorts with
Parafino, the Master Wax Maker, who sets a trap for SPIDER-MAN.
Episode # 8: HORN OF THE RHINO
HORN OF THE RHINO, PART TWO
The Rhino frames SPIDER-MAN for the theft of a top secret component used
by the army.
Episode # 9: ONE EYED IDOL
FIFTH AVENUE PHANTOM
A one-eyed idol becomes the tool of a master criminal, who magically
forcespeople to hand over their money. Also, the Fifth Avenue Phantom uses a robot disguised as a mannequin to rob department stores.
Episode # 10: THE REVENGE OF MR. MAGNETO
SINISTER PRIME MINISTER
Mad Scientist, Mr. Magneto, blazes a trail of destruction after he fails
to get into the Science Hall Of Fame. Also, Peter Parker discovers that an
evil imposter replaced a foreign prime minister.
Episode # 11: THE NIGHT OF THE VILLAINS
HERE COMES TROUBLE
Parafino brings Blackbeard and other historic figures to life, and
SPIDER-MAN must battle them all to put Parafino behind bars. Also, a
curator controls a creature from Greek mythology. SPIDER-MAN must discover his hideout and destroy his creations.
Episode # 12: SPIDER-MAN MEETS DOCTOR NOAH BODY
THE FANTASTIC FAKIR
Noah Body, the invisible man, seeks revenge on J. Jonah Jameson. Also a
swami steals the Gingamore Ruby, and SPIDER-MAN must defeat him to return the jewel.
Episode # 13: RETURN OF THE FLYING DUTCHMAN
FAREWELL PERFORMANCE
SPIDER-MAN discovers that Mysterio is behind the "appearance" of The
Flying Dutchman and must expose his plot. Also, when the Castle Theater prepares for demolition, strange occurances lead SPIDER-MAN to the great magician, Blackwell, who does not want the theater destroyed.
Episode # 14: THE GOLDEN RHINO
BLUEPRINT FOR CRIME
The Rhino steals large amounts of gold and melts it down to create a
statue in his honor. Also, The Plotter goes after the secret government
blueprints and creates diversions for SPIDER-MAN.
Episode # 15: SLIPPERY DR. VAN SCHLICT
SPIDER AND THE FLY
SPIDER-MAN responds to an explosion at the oil docks and discovers that
the devious Dr. Van Schlict is stealing oil to make a powerful energy tablet.
Also, a villain named The Fly hatches a plan to steal the Gingamere jewels
and SPIDER-MAN gets in his way and his trap.
Episode # 16: DARK TERROR
VULTURES PLAY
A shadow villain uses tricks to catch SPIDER-MAN. Also, Jameson gives away
details of a secret rocket test to Vulture, and SPIDER-MAN must stop the
villain before he strikes.
Episode # 17: MAGIC MALICE
THE TERRIBLE TRIUMPH OF DR. OCTOPUS
The Goblin uses a Book Of Magic to improve his criminal skills. Also,
Dr.Octopus goes after a device that nullifies ballistic missiles, and
SPIDER-MAN must stop him.
Episode # 18: FIDDLER ON THE LOOSE
FOUNTAIN OF TERROR
A mysterious fiddler holds the Music Conservatory hostage using sonic
blasts that destroy everything in their path. Also, the ageless Ponce De Leon
captures an American scientist when he inadvertently rediscovers the
Fountain Of Youth.
Episode # 19: DOUBLE IDENTITY
TO CATCH A SPIDER
The famous actor, Charles Cameo, impersonates famous figures, including
Jameson, to steal priceless works of art. Also, the invisible Dr. Noah
Body wants revenge on SPIDER-MAN. He frees the notorious Electro, Goblin and Vulture from prison to aid him in his plan.
Episode # 20: THE STING OF THE SCORPION
TRICK OF TREACHERY
In his attempt to fight the Scorpion, SPIDER-MAN accidentally drinks a
serum that causes him to grow to twenty feet in height. Also, a criminal
impersonates SPIDER-MAN to rob jewelry stores.
Episode # 21: THE ORIGIN OF SPIDERMAN
Peter Parker, bitten by a radioactive spider, vows to fight crime and
becomes SPIDER-MAN.
Episode # 22: KING PINNED
King Pin is the head of a phony drug ring which manufactures a secretly
harmful drug that Aunt May takes.
Episode # 23: SWING CITY
When the Master Technician fails to gain control of a power plant, he
takes over an industrial reactor. SPIDER-MAN must stop him from aiming an
anti-gravity ray at the island of Manhattan.
Episode # 24: CRIMINALS IN THE CLOUDS
When Skymaster kidnaps the son of a millionaire chemical industrialist, he
learns a secret invisibility formula. SPIDER-MAN must find the boy and
return him to safety.
Episode # 25: MENACE FROM THE BOTTOM OF THE WORLD
SPIDER-MAN confronts the leader of a race of people from the bottom of the
Earth and tries to save a group of their prisoners.
Episode # 26: DIAMOND DUST
SPIDER-MAN must catch a villain dressed as Shakespeare, out to steal a
priceless gem.
Episode # 27: SPIDER-MAN BATTLES THE MOLEMAN
The Moleman sucks buildings down to his underworld and SPIDER-MAN must
find his power generator to stop him before it is too late for the city.
Episode # 28: PHANTOM FROM THE DEPTHS OF TIME
The Unknown Villain uses giant insects with laser eyes to stun and capture
innocent people and SPIDER-MAN must find his island and bring him to
justice.
Episode # 29: THE EVIL SORCERER
A professor frees an ancient magician, Kotemp, from his prison while
SPIDER-MAN battles a throng of demons.
Episode # 30: SPIDER-MAN-VINE
Peter and his girlfriend, Jackie, find the diaries of a professor who
disappeared 30 years before, after creating a time machine. Peter uses the
time machine to find the professor, only to discover a strange land of
"vine
creatures."
Episode # 31: PARDO PRESENTS
Pardo The Magician uses a giant cat to hypnotize people while stealing
gems, furs and collectibles. SPIDER-MAN must stop his crime wave.
Episode # 32: CLOUD CITY OF GOLD
Peter Parker's plane crashes during a trip to Central America and
discovers a tyrannical descendant of the Conquistadors who SPIDER-MAN must try to depose.
Episode # 33: NEPTUNE'S NOSE CONE
Peter Parker finds himself in a prehistoric world when his plane crashes
in the Antarctic Circle.
Episode # 34: HOME
Peter Parker meets a strange, alien girl with spider powers.
Episode # 35: BLOTTO
Clyve, a former horror screen star, releases Blotto, a being that feeds
ravenously on all matter. SPIDER-MAN must find a way to stop the monster.
Episode # 36: THUNDER RUMBLE
The Gods of planet Mars send huge thunderstorms toward Earth, forcing
SPIDER-MAN to battle the weather and save the city.
Episode # 37: SPIDER-MAN MEETS SKYBOY
A famous scientist disappears and his son uses a special flying helmet to
find him, with SPIDER-MAN close behind.
Episode # 38: COLD STORAGE
SPIDER-MAN follows the evil Dr. Cool to his hideout and finds himself
transported into the future where he battles cavemen and dinosaurs ruling
the New York of the future.
Episode # 39: TO CATCH A SPIDER
SPIDER-MAN gets arrested for a robbery and tries to stop a jail break by
pretending to go along with the plan.
Episode # 40: WINGED THING
CONNER'S REPTILES
Vulture returns and plans to steal a missile being tested by the military,
unless SPIDER-MAN can stop him! Also, Dr. Conner creates a race of highly
intelligent reptiles who kidnap him, and SPIDER-MAN must save the doctor
while destroying the mutants.
Episode # 41: SPIDER VERSUS DESPERADO
TROUBLE WITH SNOW
The historic cowboy, Desperado, steals rare artifacts and SPIDER-MAN must
bring him to justice. Also, an industrial accident creates a nuclear
snowman, which gets larger with each new snowfall, and SPIDER-MAN must
melt
the beast.
Episode # 42: THE BIG BRAINWASHER
SKY HARBOUR
The Kingpin brainwashes the entire city.SPIDER-MAN must stop him from
doing the same to top city officials. Also, Baron Von Rottenhaven tries to bring
back the glory of World War 1 with his Sky Harbor, a dock for a fleet of
biplanes.
Episode # 43: SOURCE OF THE SCARF
VANISHING DR. VESPASIAN
The villainous Scarf robs the rich on Broadway using a psychedlic
projector that bounces waves off the moon. Also, Dr.Vespian invents an invisibility serum and goes on a crime spree.
Episode # 44: BIRTH OF MICROMAN
SUPER SWAMI
Professor Pretorious breaks out of jail and uses the Kingdom Come machine
to shrink himself to micro-size in his attempt to explode an atomic bomb.
Also, the Swami uses a movie projector which makes the entire city hallucinate. SPIDER-MAN must use his own tricks to stop him.
Episode # 45: THE DEVIOUS DR. DUMPTY
THE KNIGHT MUST FALL
Dr. Dumpty steals movie star Racquel Well's jewels, and SPIDER-MAN tracks
him down. Also, at a performance of "King Arthur," a knight steals box
office money and SPIDER-MAN must stop him before he acts again.
Episode # 46: UP FROM NOWHERE
An alien submarine from the ocean's depths sucks the energy out of New
York.
Episode # 47: ROLLARAMMA
Dr. Kurt Von Glutz unleashes giant, living boulders on New York City and
SPIDER-MAN travels to the Land of Crystal Creation to stop the deadly
rocks.
Episode # 48: RHINO
The Rhino returns with enhanced superpowers in an attempt to charge over
SPIDER-MAN and control New York's crime scene.
Episode # 49: MYSTERIO
REVOLT IN THE FIFTH DIMENSION
Mysterio creates an illusion in which SPIDER-MAN thinks he is only six
inches tall and bombards the webbed wonder with carnival tricks and
illusions until SPIDER-MAN outwits him. Also, SPIDER-MAN gets sucked into
an alternate universe where the evil Dementia 5 tries to steal a sphere containing incredible knowledge.
Episode # 50: SPECIALIST AND SLAVES
The mad scientist, The Specialist, takes over a nuclear reactor and turns
the people of Manhattan into slaves.
Episode # 51: DOWN TO EARTH
SPIDER-MAN tangles with a group of tribesmen who attempt to sacrifice a
meteorite to a volcano, which would lead to an explosion capable of
destroying the planet.
Episode # 52: TRIP INTO TOMORROW
A little boy wants to become a superhero, and SPIDER-MAN weaves a set of
true-life tales which send the boy scurrying back home to the safety of
his
