Some Interesting Things About The 60's Spider-Man

I'm watching The Spider-Man marathon, and has anyone noticed that the front, and back symbols on Spidey's suit have only six legs instead of eight? Spiders have eight legs, so that makes them arachnids. Insects have only six legs. Another thing I've noticed (more recently anyway.) is that Jameson's cigar has been "diditally removed" in most scenes. (That shouldn't surprise me. After all, this is Di$ney we're dealing with.) and the results weren't pretty. This makes the editing that was done in "Return Of The Joker" look like Ctizen Kane.

Spidey's other two legs are the ones he uses to walk. Seriously, that's how it is in the comics as well (last I checked). Get it? Six legs on the symbol, other two legs on his body...I missed that the first time around as well.

I don't believe it, at first I thought, dear me, what a trivial point not much for me to say to that.. , and then I'm dumbstruck by this possible explanation! I will have to research this myself!

I love the original 60s series. The music, Spidey's collide with camera shot, the web design on his suit only reaching his neck from his head... coooool. Bout time we had a marathon of this series in the UK!

How many scenes were effected?

if there wasn't that many, why B!!ch about it.

Now if they took the character out because of that, then you should complain.

Otherwise, save it.

They removed cigars? I didn't even realize they were supposed to be there.
