I can imagine someone at Marvel picking a name out of a hat to see who'd get to appear on that cover.

They put so much work into that cover design.

Well, this episode really did have a short scene with a blank white background...

I found this issue at a store today, and it comes with an interview with Josh Fine at the end. A few highlights include:

    • Vision originally would have made his debut in Season One.
    • Taskmaster and Nova almost made appearances, but presumably not in the same episode.
    • Fine explains that he intended to resolve the Ragnarok storyline during season 3, and apologizes for the lack of a payoff.

I also skimmed the other Film Comics, and found the following changes:

    • Plenty of Skrull!Cap's dialogue became rewritten to make him sound like Steve Rogers. (eg, He kicks Zemo in "Acts of Vengeance" because he didn't approve of Zemo harboring a Norm Stone, he doesn't make an unprovoked "Avengers, attack!" command in "Welcome to the Kree Empire.")
    • Jan's and Sue's "girl time" in "The Private War of Doctor Doom" occurs offscreen, removing references to the first season finale.
    • The "Acts of Vengeance" comic does indeed cut out all references to Surtur.
    • The space vacated in "Welcome to the Kree Empire" by cutting out the call between Skrull!Cap and Queen Veranke became filled with a chat between Henry Peter Gyrich and Agent Brand, in which Gyrich says he might make Carol and Brand go public about their powers if another invasion arises. Plus, Carol mentions coming from Boston at one point.
    • "To Steal an Ant-Man" and "Michael Korvac" remove all reference to Hank 'n Jan's romantic tension, and any hints about Yelowjacket.
